Complaint Review: Aamco Newark
Aamco NewarkFrelinghuysen Ave. Newark, New Jersey United States of America
Aamco Newark Warren Ross 3X Unnecessary Transmission Rebuild Newark, New Jersey
At this point I didn't want to deal with the Newark location any more so I called Aamco HQ and complained until they agreed I could bring my car to any other location. I brought it to an Aamco in Jersey City. They claimed to rebuild it but the problem persisted. I brought the car to my local mechanic, (((competitor's name redacted))) in Maplewood - (((phone number redacted))) and Ira diagnosed and repaired the problem: a faulty solenoid which checked out normally but failed upon heating up. I am convinced the Newark Aamco tells everyone they need a rebuild as a matter of course.
sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company, ..plus, if you post a competitors name more than likely they will show up on search engines as a Rip-off! - - your comments on this policy are welcome. CLICK here to see why Rip-off Report, as a matter of policy, deleted either a phone number, link or e-mail address from this Report. In this case we removed an alleged competitors name
