I took my truck to AAMCO Transmission in Winchester VA. Terry the manager informed me that all I needed was a Solenoid Block replaced.  I had to save up money for a month to get the Ford Explorer out and it cost 544.50 for Solenoid Block plus brakes and rotors were $230.11, total of $774.61. Being single, it was a lot to me. I dropped off on April 27 and didnt get out until June 6, 2012.  It was there a month.  When I picked up truck, Terry stated that I needed to drive it to see if it was okay.  I said why should i have to check it, dont you  know whether it is working.

Did you guys drive it and he tells me that the mechanic didnt have time after putting in Solenoid Block.  That was suspicious.  I test drove truck not 15 minutes down the road the engine and service lights still on and still missing.  I called and told Terry what was going on and he said the mechanic failed to bleed the brakes and I had to put my brakes in order to stop which caused me almost to hit people infront of me.  I took back and tell Terry having the same issues and they needed to get things right with my brakes.

He put truck back on diagnostic machine and this time claims there is 5 codes coming up now, when on April 27, 2012 was just one, the Solenoid Block.  Terry tells me I have to buy a PCM. I told him that I couldnt afford that, plus you told me that the Solenoid Block would fix the problem.  I am now seeking counsel. I dont think they even put Solenoid Block to fix transmission.  I think they told me they fixed it when in fact they just took my money.  I am single and have to pay all the bills by myself.  I had to let the truck sit there a month and 11 days just to save up to get the truck out.  Its wrong and AAMCO needs to be sued by a multitude of people.
