I have requested 4 times in writing and 8 times verbally a written summary of our account mailed to us in the last month. They keep saying they'll send it. Yet keep harrasing us over a "late payment." According to my records we are paid up through December 1st.
8:01 pm this evening William (the account idiot, I mean manager) called my home waking my two sleeping children up. When asked where my account summary was, he states "it doesn't matter." What is that? When asked for his regional managers name and phone number he told me I could call him (Shawn), "but it's not like he'll do anything."
Harrasing phone calls 4 to 6 times a day, even when I leave constant messages for them. As they are never available to talk when I call back. I will even leave after hours voice mails as sometimes I dont have time to call back during the day.
They tell me there are notes on my account, that I never called in and said. Yet, the things that I have called in about noone seems to have any record of.
Aarons gives you nothing in writing after you sign your agreement, they always avoid doing anything in writing. You might get your monthly statement in the mail, however it will always be the same no matter if you paid extra the month before or less. Or you owe a late fee, it never shows up on the bill. But they want you to pay it. It's like giving money to a mystery.
Last week when I spoke to Adam (another Aarons idiot) he first told me we owed a full months payment, then he changed his story and said a half months payment, then it went to $40 and he ended with saying we owed $50 to keep us current until Dec 1st.
Not sure what this Shawn guy will tell me tomorrow, or if he will even call me back.
Is there anyone out there that wants to start a class action lawsuit against Aarons sales and leasing???? I would really be in on that. They have shady practices.
If we weren't 15 months into a contract that's nearly paid off they would have our washer and dryer back tomorrow.
