The initial purchase started with an advertisement for a mother that came up with a teeth whitening concoction that is purchased through just two free trials. The website states that after the free trial is received, there are fourteen days until you are charged for three months worth of the product. When I received the free trial, it was very poorly packaged and the entire product leaked out and was empty by the time I received it.
Then, within 10 or less days from receiving the free sample, my credit card was charged an amount slightly over 64 dollars. I called the company's customer service number and their automated answering system picked up. This message stated their business hours, but my call was well within these business hours.
So I ended up getting online to talk to a live chat representative and this caused further confusion. They said the charge could not be taken off my account, even though it was less than fourteen days. Representative kept saying this was stated in the contract.
Finally, I just accepted the charges and decided to just forget about it. Little did I know, this company had another "free trial" in their contract, but it was for another company/product. Specifically it was for a weight loss product.
However, I do not remember reading anything about authorizing dazzlewhite to give my credit card to quickacaidietsource.com. Luckily, I check my online bank account more than weekly and caught the charge for 7 dollars and 34. I called customer service to find out what the charge was, and she stated that it was all in the contract for dazzlewhitepro.
After much arguing with this rep, she said she could reduce the initial charge to one half the value. I looked on my credit card statement a couple of days later and it had the initial charge of 7 still on there. Looking further down the page, it showed another charge from the same company for exactly half the initial charge, 3.64.
I called customer service again, and same automated machine picked up and stated the business hours which I was clearly within the range of. I started looking up the customer service numbers online 888-779-5303, and a variety of websites came up, most of which were "diet fad" websites. I looked up more business information that they offer as a way to contact them and found an address, or what seemed to be one.
I copied this address into my search bar, and multiple pornography websites showed up. This business uses different company names on the same address, if the address is even real. I fear this company will continue to charge me for as long as I have a functioning credit card on their records.
