In December of 2008 I decided to try the "free" Trial of Acai-Pure. I was charged $4.95 shipping & handling as I was told I would be charged. I spoke with my physician, I am disabled, while awaiting the arrival of this product and was told that due to the deterioration of my Myelin sheath I could not take this product. I contacted the company and was told to write refused on the parcel and it would go back to them and that they would then take me off their "subscription list". This seemed to have worked until 04/16/2009 when they charged my credit card $39.95. I filed a dispute with my credit card company stating that this was an unauthorized charge. I should add that this charge caused my credit card to go over it's limit costing me an additional $39.00. I was given my money back by the credit card company for the time being.

But then viola' on 5/27/09 I was recharged the $39.95 & an additional $39.00 in over limit fees because I didn't state that it was a canceled subscription. I stated it was an unauthorized charge. The company told my credit card that the charge was authorized (in the trial). So I lose. They sent nothing for the money they took from me, I cannot file another request for reimbursement, although I am awaiting a call back from the credit card supervisor.

Acai-Pure are the experts of the scam all the way down to the disconnected toll free number to call on your credit card statement. They should be investigated and charged by our government with fraud & theft by deception.

After reading a number of other complaints against this company, I was actually able to find an e-mail address to their supposed support people. It is: support@acaipurelife.com. I wrote to this email address only to get an automated email response.
Again There is a "fox in the chicken coop" when it comes to this company.
I do not know who you contact in Florida to cause a company to fix their shady ways. Any assistance is appreciated.
