I ordered a free trial sample from Acaipure on 4/6/09, the terms stated a free 14 day trial offer. If you are not satisfied cancel within the 14 days and there is no charge except shipping and handling and it also said more products will be sent if you do not cancel membership.On 4/16/09 I called to cancel, the phone number said temporarally not in service.
I got on the internet to their getorderhelp.com for an RMN and I emailed them I was returning the product. I also got another phone number on the website and called and spoke to Aaron he gave me an confirmation #040609. He said we would rather you keep the product, I told him I didn't see any weight loss even in inches and did not want to be charged, He said I wouldn't be charged , no need to return the empty bottle and that my membership was cancelled and I would only be charged the shipping and handling. I repeated this back to him to make sure I wasn't charged, he said i would definetly not be charged except shipping and handling.
I got an e-mail from them saying they were charging me because I did not cancel and return thje empty bottles.I recieved my credit card bill and was charged 39.95 on April 19,2009.
I tried to call them again but stilll got that message of temporarly out of service. I went on line and saw an fraud claim and a phone number so I called it. The girl in customer service said I only called and cancelled my membership, and was charged for the product. I told her I cancelled within the 14 day. Then she informed me that the offer said I would be charged even if I cancelled in 14 days because that was only cancelling my membership.
This company totally misrepresented themselves, even on Oprah she advertized their free trial offer.They lied a Fraudulent Company dont buy from them or try their products. they ripped me off.
