I have been with account now for some time (over 5 years) and while i don't agree with some of their policies or the fact that no one speaks proper English, i trudged on.

I have an income tax business and a good portion of my clients do not have a banking account.  I thought I made it a little easier for them by helping them open up an account now account.  While some did call and complain about the fees I felt it was better than paying outrageous check cashing fees and they also had the convenience of depositing their direct deposits.

I recently received a call from a client saying they were contacted by Risk Management from Accountnow because the company felt that my client was transferring too much money from his account now card to another account now card.  It was explained to them that since they only allow 300.00 transfer a day and he needs to pay his child support that is why this was being done.

I get on the line with my client and go through the formalities and we are told that nothing can be discussed further until he faxes in his ID, tax return, social security card, etc.  Since when the HE** did a bank, or whatever you are calling yourselves, dictate how someone is supposed to spend money?  My client and i even stated that if we felt the card was being compromised he would have called in well before that.  Of course, we get the (in foreign voice) "We are sorry you are having this problem, blah blah Charlie Brown's teacher blah).

I told my client I am sorry for ever recommending these jokes and send in the items to get his money.  I recommended he ask for a check and RUN as fast as possible away from these rip-offs.

Best part, because i became irate and demanded an answer, of which they still haven't given, they closed my account.  Um, yea I am hurting here...NOT.  Keep the 5.15 and put it towards Rosetta Stone please.

People, run and i mean as fast as you can and choose another prepaid site.  Their fees, since they are getting a lot of people with income taxes, are getting outrageous by the minute.  I swear if this was my own site I would tell you what you can do with this company, but for now my only hope is that when you are falling off that building your eyelid gets caught on a rusty nail on the way down.  That is all!!!
