Kirk Whiltie Paid for services with a check that bounced Columbus Ohio

About four weeks ago I received a call from Accuserve, Kirk, and was asked if I wold serve papers for him in dowtown Cleveland (OH).  He said the one of the services had to be made by 3:00pm the same day.  I accepted the assignment and rushed home to print the paperwork.  I served the summon with 5 minutes to spare.  I advissed Kirk of the perfected service and he advised me to send him a bill for the assignemnt.  I sent him a invoice and gave him two weeks to pay me.  After two weeks, nothing.  I called him and sent emails which went unanswered.  After three weeks he answered his phone and advised me he put my payment in the mail that morning,  After five days I received a check which I deposited forthwith.  Three days later the bank advised me the check bounced and I was penalized with NFS fees.
