I responded to a job offer on Craigslist for a bartender opening, some time later I spoke with someone from the "human respources" dept of Ace Productions. I completed a phone interview and was contacted a few days later saying that I had pretty much gotten the job and I just needed to complete a bartending course since I had no previous experience. My red flags started going up when the guy from "human resources" said he had already found a site (mixpros.net) for me to complete the course and it would "only" be $129.00, he also began telling me about supposed pay structures and scheduling. Luckily I listened to my gut and did a little research, found this article http://www.ripoffreport.com/r/Dining-Diamond-/New-York/Dining-Diamond-Scamed-me-into-a-fake-job-new-york-city-New-York-1134367 which mirrors my experience and found the company's facebook to be only a month old. So thanks to this site I narrowly avoided the scam and hopefully can pass on this info to others just trying to find an honest job to make a living
