Complaint Review: Action Camera & Camcorder Repair
Action Camera & Camcorder Repair15192 Hazel Valley Rd. Fayetteville, Arkansas United States of America
Action Camera & Camcorder Repair Hal Newton Camera repair SCAM. Sent a camera and 2 video recorders - 2 came back not repaired and 1 was never sent back! Fayetteville, Arkansas
In July of 2009 I sent a camera and 2 video recorders to Action Camera & Camcorder repair. They guaranteed to have my camcorders and camera back w/in 2 weeks. After calling several times a week, one of the camcorders and the digital camera were returned. Neither on was fixed. The digital camera worked for 15 minutes and the camcorder never worked.
The other camcorder was nearly new. Hal said he needed to order parts, and every week he found something else wrong. It's now April 2010. I've tried calling several dozen times and when trying to dial the phone you get a message that says the "phone has been disconnected or is no longer in service."
I've paid almost $200 without any repairs being done and lost a $500 camcorder. The first offences could be either misrepresentation, fraud, incompetence, or all 3. The second offense is flat out stealing!!!
Where has Hal gone and where are our cameras???
