Active.com Misappropriated credit card Internet

When you sign up for a race you create and account which includes your credit card information .  What they don't tell you is they charge you $59.95 to do so, in addition to the supplemental race registration they charge on the site.  I complained and they said they would refund it no problem. If you read their terms of service you can't tell what any charges may be. It simply says certain services may result in charges. Also they are required  under California law to have a link to their pricing page, which they disclose on their website and post the link. When you click on it the message says the page does not exist. Nice!

Waiting to see if the refund shows up on my credit card.   The email they sent saying I would be refunded the charge had a link to view my refund receipt.  When you click on that it opens to the page to open an Active account online.
