Acxiom has been allowing Russ Hopkins and Brandon Weiss to make illegal copies of Microsoft and Adobe software for the past several years so that they can supplement their meager income. I first found out what they were doing when Russ had posted a classified ad on one of the Internet sites he had built where he was offering some Adobe graphic software for $20. I couldn't beleive somebody could sell it for $20 when it was in stores for $400, so I responded. He told me the software was the original but when he brought it to me, it was a CD-RW disk that had an Acxiom label on it. You would have thought he would have been smarter than leave the label on it, but he wasn't. He's not the brightest guy around.

I started asking him about the software and he said it was fine with his company. He had just made some speech at some computer thing in Little Rock that Acxiom was hosting and he said he was the big dog there and that nobody could touch him. Since they wouldn't spend enough money for his salary, he said he would supplement it.

He never told me he was married, at least not before we had first done it. I can't believe I'm telling this, but his wife deserves to know. He told me he really liked me and that he wouldn't charge me the $20 if I would give him a blow job. I told him I thought he was kinda cute, in a geek sort of way, but that I don't do that. But I told him I was open to other suggestions. It was too bad I said that because when he stripped, it was kinda sad.

He has the ugliest big feet I've ever seen and the rest of him is plain disgusting. Anyways, he was in and out of me in about 2 minutes and then got dressed and left. When I tried to boot the disk it wouldn't boot up on my computer (I have an older computer) and I had to call him to come back. That's when I first started buying software from Russ and Brandon (his gay friend). It should be illegal for Acxiom to allow their employees to make copies of software like this and sell it to people like me who don't have much money. I have tried calling Acxiom but nobody there ever calls me back.

Russ Hopkins and Brandon Weiss are thieves. They should be shot (or at least castrated) for what they have done to me and hundreds of others. I can't believe Microsoft allows this to go on right under their nose.

I told Acxiom about the problem but they ignore it

AUTHOR: Marty - (U.S.A.)

I have worked for Acxiom for over 5 years and have worked alongside Russ and Brandon since they came on board back around 97. Brandon's last name is Wise, not Weiss, like the lady said, but for the most part what she says is true.

Russ Hopkins is the ring leader of the web team. He came on board back when Acxiom was trying to get one of our big financial clients (FirstUSA) to give Tim Watts all of their web work. Whatever he says goes. Tim Watts is supposed to be the boss, but he doesn't do anything about what Russ and Brandon does. Russ has constantly upgraded his computer and server to the point that he has a little side-business going on within Acxiom. Acxiom is a great company - don't get me wrong - I have loved working here, but I am amazed that it lets Russ and Brandon do this. It just doesn't seem right.

I would like to see Microsoft get involved with this because I know that is one of Russ' biggest money-makers. He also sells tons of games that he copies at work and a lot of Adobe software. I was not really sure that Russ had another company until I started asking a few people at work. His company is Phorward Thinking and I would not be surprised that Russ is using it to sell his illegal copies. And I know that a lot of software has come up missing ever since Russ started work here. Not just software, books and CDs that people have at their desks ends up missing too.

Russ is a nice person when you meet him, but underneath that is the heart of the devil. He has done some very mean things since coming here. Now that this is all out in the open, I will do my best to get transferred away from Russ and Brandon and Tim Watts. This is just not the kind of publicity that Acxiom needs right now.
