However, I reviewed the program and two things got my attention. The Template Optimizer application and the product Warehouse. The TO would provide one with quick and efficient ways to list product and the Warehouse would offer a never-ending flow of products to sell on eBay. It is no secret that you cant make any money on eBay unless you have something to sell. Sooner or later, your closet will empty, your neighbors garage will empty and you will not have any products to sell let alone make millions on. Therefore, a Warehouse to pick and choose from had my attention.
So prior to paying the fee, I tried to get information about the curriculum so that I could evaluate what I would learn. Well, forget it. That never happened. Than we were told there would be a webinar at 11 a.m. one morning explaining the weekend. We all waited over half an hour before Adam started the webinar and never even apologized for being late. Many of us were calling the phone number we had to find out if it was canceled.
Than the weekend came for the training. Over all the training was good. Even being a seasoned eBay user I found several things that were good refreshers and beneficial. But my main interest was the TO and warehouse aspect of it.
It was alluded that since the group will be diverse and some
with more experience than others that we would be broken up into groups
depending on our experience level. This never happened. We all (approximately
100) sat in one room following the same curriculum.
Day 2 came around and we still had not covered the TO
portion. Page 29, 30, 31 and 32 of the Training Manual are dedicated to
Template Optimizer. At one point I asked about the TO training and Adam said he
would cover it towards the end of the session. The end of the session came and
I asked again about it. Adam said that there would be a 90 minute webinar on
the following Tuesday regarding TO. At the time I found that acceptable.
However, at this point I would like to point out that the Training Manual
clearly states the following.
Specific Template Optimizer training is covered (hands on) at the eBay
Mastery workshop so we do encourage you to attend a live workshop as soon as
your schedule permits. As well you will receive access to a series of Template
Now my wife and I both heard him say there would be a webinar. However, when I emailed support they disputed this and said that Adam said he would email us on Tuesday when the webinar would be. Again, I sort of accepted that but than Tuesday came and we never got an email. When I inquired
support about it I was told that Adam was busy and, whenever he gets around to
The weekend training took place September 29 and 30. The Tuesday we were supposed to get the email
would have been October 2. As of October 28th, we never received any
information regarding a webinar for TO.
Adam Ginsberg International says, Allow us to provide World-Class Customer Support. This is far from the truth. Once he received our money, support took a back seat. Especially from a guy by the name of Jeff in support. We never were provided the training promised in the manual. On top of
that, the software did not work when we tried to list items for buy it now.
This Jeff guy said TO worked and tried to blame my eBay account but there is nothing wrong with my eBay account. I have a rating of over 700 positive feedbacks and if my eBay account was not working I would surely know it.
So I sent a certified letter to Mr. Ginsberg requesting our money back because we were not provided the software and training that was promised in his first seminar and outlined in his training manual. I never heard from him.
About a month later I got an email 24 hours before the webinar for TO. I did not see it until it was too late so I missed it. I was accused of not taking advantage of their webinars and finally told by this Jeff guy that I was not going to get a refund.
The webinar was eventually put on-line. In the webinar they admit that there were problems with TO and that they were working on a "patch", not a fix. Over a month has gone by and we have yet to get this patch. So the software is useless. There is absolutely no communications with us about what the status is.
And if you want to try and talk to him on the telephone, forget it. Once he has your money he turns it over to his staff to tell you, "he is not available". Apparently unless you want to get suckered into his scam.
Steer clear of this operation. Do NOT invest any money into this guy and his scam. There should be a class action suite against him and his organization. I'm sure we are not the only ones scammed out of our money. There are the 100 that attended the session we did.
