I bought an AKC Reg. German Shepherd dog from Christina Lanckriet. She has ads on
the internet known as Adelhaus Shepherds. She was going to the large dog show known
as a Sieger Show with several of her dogs. She agreed to meet me, so it was not out of
her way. I had to drive 5+ hours each way to meet her.
I drove from Foley, Mo. to Davenport Iowa in the middle of the night with my daughter. I went to the town she told me to go to and called her. She said she wasn't near me and told me to go somewhere down the road and get me and address and she will come to me.
I did what she said to do. Some how she passed me up and kept on driving. She called and asked me if I was driving an Explorer and I said yes, why didn't you stop ? Now she's mad cause she got lost and blames me and had to drive 2 hours.
She finally met me and gave me a folder of papers. I mistakenly trusted her that everything would be there, all paperwork including the AKC papers. She then says to me and I quote word for word "what do you think is fair to pay me for meeting you ? I was a lil confused as we never discussed me paying her anything. I did however feel I should give her some
money and said I don't have any extra money with me now. I will mail you a check for $100
Since then I've had nothing but trouble. When I get home with the dog, the next day she emails me and says I have to pay her another $375 or else I am not going to get the AKC papers. My contract states I get all her paperwork.
I have contacted AKC and told them everything. How can breeders like this stay in business ? All I want is the papers, I need them. I have learned my lesson not to trust anyone in dogs again.

Well it's now the end of March 2013, I've had my dog for 6 months now. She, Christie Lanckriet or William (whatever she calls herself nowadays) still has never sent me a receipt for gas, so I can pay her some money. I never received her papers from Christie, as I was promised I would have them. She is a scammer !
She bred an unregistered female and told people they will get their AKC papers and they NEVER WILL GET THEM.
I have kept every single email between the two of us and can prove every single work I say. She sold me a dog for $1,200 and I drove all the way to meet her from Foley, Mo to Davenport Iowa. Because she was already on her way to the Sieger Show and so she wasn't go out of her way one minute, I met her where she said to go.
Do not trust her, she will lie and talk about how much she loves her dogs.
I was trying to trust someone that now I know doesn't deserve to be trusted. She has MANY MANY dogs at her house in Colorado and doesn't take the time to properly socialize them.
VERY DISAPPOINTED DOG BUYER

Those who purchased puppies out of Farah knew that without a doubt, that all were sold as pet quality only puppies. They were also sold for a quarter of the price of my other puppies, on pet/companion only contracts. Since Farah was co-owned with my German handlers, we wanted to see if anything from her would be worth keeping in a progeny group. Of course, not one puppy was worth keeping back.
For you, she maybe your best investment and your best dog. For me, it was best to promote my other females of higher caliber.
Again, she should have been spayed and placed (free of charge) in to a forever pet home.

Christie knew exactly what I was wanting a female for, family and breeding dog. And
to possibly show a few times. She sold me a breeding quality female and NOW she says
she should have been spayed. Maybe that is why she priced her soooo low as she states.
Because now she's saying she should have been spayed for many reasons ??

Mr. Pettis got his full AKC papers upon completion of paying for full registration of the dog, Windser vom Adel Haus. The dog was purchased as a companion on limited registration. Mr. Pettis wanted to breed the dog. He was told he had to pay for breeding rights, and when he did, full AKC papers were signed and given to him.
This situation was handled. Windser vom Adel Haus, is the only puppy in his litter that will receive full AKC papers. Everyone else who has puppies in this litter is more than pleased with their puppies and the jobs that they are doing!

Donna Foley has never been to my home where I and my dogs reside...All of these dogs are big part of my family and are treated with the greatest care and respect. She has never seen any of my puppies except perhaps photos in magazines where the puppies and dogs have placed high in the standings of the USA.
Donna, perhaps you should be more concerned with things going on in your own life. I have a very good reputation and there are many people who are proud of their Adel Haus puppies. In the twenty years that I have been deeply involved with the German Shepherd Dog breed, I have never come across someone like you. All you are out to do is cause problems because of your own inability to rationalize a situation. Everyone is very well aware of this, and to come to a board and publicly complain about your impatience is very child-like.
Perhaps, had you followed a simple purchase contract, you would not be in this situation.
The point is...Farah should have been spayed and placed in a companion home where she would have lived a great life. I have offered Donna back the full purchase price for Farah, and she refuses. This is not about the money, this is about the principle of adhering to a signed purchase contract, which is a full legal and binding document in the court of law. I didn't force Donna to purchase Farah nor to sign the contract. This was her own free will and she then bred the dog immediately after purchasing her.
Farah was a steal at $1200, and I don't believe that there will ever be another imported dog sold at this price. If this was about the money, I would not have had priced her at such a low price. I took a huge loss on the female, and apparently you don't get it. As mentioned earlier in this writing, Farah should have been spayed and placed in a companion home... not as a breeding female for many reasons. This is why Farah is no longer a female breeding candidate among the high profile females that are actively shown and promoted within my group.

This is to anyone that's purchased a puppy from Adelhaus German Shepherds, out of
the dam- Farah . I do not believe that you will ever get your puppy AKC papers
from her. She's said that her clients trust her and are waiting, please do not trust
her. If you purchase a dog from her make sure you have papers in hand, and that
it is socialized. She has a ton of dogs and can't possibly be socializing them properly.
She is in dogs for the money, and breeds her females just about every heat cycle.
She has a website that states things about her guarantee that she does NOT stand
by. She makes a ton of money on her dogs, I wonder if she's paying taxes ?

Agree to a reasonable offer for gas, as we never discussed it beforehand and no amount in the contract. Can you please NOW send me a signed contract and her health record ? I mean I've asked a dozen times already. I've asked you about
her favorite toy ? etc. The dog doesn't even know how to play for God's sake.
She sleeps in my bed, follows me everywhere, she's a good dog. She is loved and well taken care of here. Here she gets alot of attention, love and exercise. Quit trying to make it sound like I can't afford the dog and how much I paid for her.

There was a question as to who owned the mother when the litter was born as the mother was sold shortly after the litter was weaned... I filed with the akc and let them know that I was the owner and her exact date of sale...
Donna you have yet to pay for the shipping on the dog you purchased... I have made akc aware of this situation.

I will contact you Tony. I've also had 2 other people contact me as well. I guess this is the normal practice for Adelhaus German Shepherds. I'm not paying her another dime for the dog that was advertised for $1,200. Except for some gas money for meeting me, as I stated I would. People need to know this, cause it will stop others from getting ripped off too.
Not only that but I'm still waiting for my contract and health record. She's in it for the money no question about that !

after christina had told people i only paid $500.00 for him

Do the right thing and give me Farah's AKC papers. I for some reason trusted you.
When I picked her up, you gave me a folder with several papers, x rays in it. I just assumed her AKC papers were in there too. Stupid me ! She was already paid in full when we met to get her. Yes, I agreed to give you $100 for some gas money.
You try and make it sound like your going out of your way to meet me. YOU WERE NOT. You can't hold my AKC papers for ransome. I drove to Davenport, Iowa where you said to meet you. Cause you were turning off that highway to another highway on the way to Sieger Show ! I at the last minute agreed to meet you, that evening/ early morning. My daughter and I drove in the middle of the night, over 5 hours each way. It's not my fault you got lost. We did not have an agreement for an amount to give you for gas. This has nothing to do with me getting her papers. My contract and all of your emails state that I will get all her paperwork !
I'm tired of emailing each other back and forth, I have kept every email between the both of us. Email me privately so we can get this done and over with. When I get her AKC papers, I will then come back on here and state that is was settled.

Just because someone is well known, does not make them an honest person. I
purchased a young adult German Shepherd from Christi Lanckriet. Instead of shipping
the dog to me we agreed to meet. Christi was already driving to the Sieger Show, so

As states in my contract, which was signed by the buyer.. Buyer will be responsible for all shipping charges. Otherwise the contraact is null and void. The female was purchased for $1200 use..which is less thqn a puppy price. Had the buyer shipped via the airlines she would have paid over $650 usd. We did not have to drive to meet the buyer, we could have just let her pay for shipping expenses...
If she can't afford to pay for the transportation costs she should not have signed the contract and bought the dog. It is a nice female, and was sold for more than a fair price. The buyer wants to immediately breed the dog without knowing anything about her to make money off of her. Too bad for the dog...sad situation... I regret the sale to donna lampson of foley, mo
