Adell Frey is a racists and unprofessional. I called her to view a property that she was "managing" in bellflower and she was fine with meeting with me.
Upon arriving at the property with my sister and daughter we went to the door and she told us to wait a minute to open the door.
Then we toured the home. It was a nice home. And we then told her we were interested in renting the house how do we apply. She said that we needed to fill out an application and submit a $35 credit check fee. She then stated that she did not have any applications (even though there were some on the counter behind her in her manilla folder that my daughter saw)
She said she would fax them to us. When i called her the next day she said that her computer and fax were not working. And that she had to bring the paperwork to us because she couldnt send it. She took 3 days to bring us the applications. Then we filled it out the same day and called her to return them. She said she would come by the next day between 12pm and 1pm and pick them up with the credit check fee.
The next day she didnt show up so i called her. She said "oh i thought you were bring it here to me." I said no you said you were picking it up but that we were on our way to bring it to her. When we arrived at the house again we handed her the applications and the fees for the application. She said wait to give me the monry let me see if you filled out the form correctly. She then proceeded to look over the form and then started pointing out things that were on the form and asking questions about hte information and where it came from.. After my daughter said everything is on the forms i checked it she looked at her and said not much gets past me either. She then took the forms and the check and said it would take 24 hours. I asked her to contact my daughter with any questions or needs.
She did not contact us for 4 days and she would not answer any of our calls. Then when i called from a number that she didnt recognize she answered the phone. She then proceeded to tell me that my sister was not interested in the house (lie) she then said "well i need proof of income before I can process your applications. I need your taxes." She then called my sister and asked her if we get along and do we fight. (in appropriate!!) She then said well i havent done anything with you applications our your check.
When my daughter called to see what was ging on she told her "If you dont have power of attorney I wont talk to you" my daughter then told her it seems like you are giving them the run around. She said i will only talk to them and they know what i need.
The next day she called us and told us the house was rented. She looks Hispanic and we are African American. She was very condescending and rude with her tone after she actually met us.
