Recently my computer crashed, and I wanted to transfer my software over.
Adobe gave me original installation disks that did not work and I downloaded the program from their website.
They said I would have to repurchase the software. This despite extensive record keeping and registration requirements on their part. In addition their FAQ stated that software can be transferred.
They restrict people from doing this by making newer versions and making links to old version inaccessible. This way they claim there is no way to download the old software. They said I could use the discs however the original discs did not work. Adobe software costs between 500-1700 per license. It is outrageous that they want me to pay for software that I have already purchased and which they have full record that I have purchased.
