Complaint Review: Adopt a bike LA
Adopt a bike LALos Angeles, California United States of America
Adopt a bike LA adoptabikela.com RIP OFF. JUNK BIKES W/ CHINESE PARTS. Los Angeles, California
Most of their bikes are all rusted, have cracking tires, crappy cables, etc. They buy and resell but cut corners and overprice their crap bikes. When they do replace parts with new parts, they use cheap/unreliable Chinese parts to cut costs. I guarantee you're going to have to spend more money in the near future to replace them and the whole cost of the bike will go up even more. I wouldn't trust any seller with this kind of practice.
If you'd like to know a bikes value or have any questions about its components, you can ask in any bike forum. They will tell you its true value. They've taken over craigslist with their overposting and bold characters in every ad. Buying from them defeats the purpose of buying a used bike as you're usually looking for a good deal when you look in the classifieds. Save yourself time, money, and a headache, buy from a private owner.
Beware of Anything from Adopt A bike in Los Angeles, Highland Park, Downtown, Near Pasadena, Gold Line, Etc. Don't support this type of business and don't get stuck with a junk bike.
