Advance Wellness Research, Inc Offered 14-day free trial Pure Acai Berry.Made order, received different product was charged for it.Then called, number was bogus, website bogus, still charged my credit, 3 times in a month ($84.88)closed my credit card and found out others have same problem.products are Acai Pure Berry Detox/fat burner and total cleanse. The Acai Berry and total cleanse were advertised on aol with so-called endorsements from Oprah Winphrey and Rachael Ray. It also sent emails to my aol account saying it helps with diabetes and cardiovascular wellness. The free 14-day trial period was offered. This I took not knowing the 14-day starts as soon as you submit your acceptance of the trial offer. I agreed to pay the shipping cost.

The product sent was good, however, I did not want to continue it as I learned it would cost $84.88 per shipping. I did indeed cancel it. I first tried to call the company. The number was bogus. I also tried emailing them. I sent the product back with a cancellation note. They did include a return address. I soon received another product, total cleanse in which I did not order. This I returned as well. I tried calling again to a bogus number.

I tried the website, also bogus. I called my bank to put a block on this company. That did not work as in the month of March I wa charged 3 times for approximately a little over $240.00 dollars. I had to close my bank account to stop this. I want everyone to know about this scam. When I did more research I learned this was happening to everyone. I think Oprah Winphrey and Rachael Ray need to know their names are being affiliated with this scam.
