Advanced Facilities Maintenance Corp. does not pay contractors or subcontractors/gives run around and excuses if you get to talk to any one. Columbus, Ohio

We were hired by Advanced Facilities Maintenance Corp. as subcontractors on a business here in Oklahoma.  We finished the job in Nov. 2012 and invoiced them along with the W-9 they asked for.  We were told it could take 35 days.  We should have received payment at the end of Dec.  We tried calling over and over, only getting the run around from the ones we talked to or just getting voice mails, where we left many messages.  We sent emails which were not answered.  We finally got ahold of someone who stated that it was being processed, keep in mind that this is around 45 days later, and we should have it in 35 days.  Not acceptable!   We were reassured that they would put a rush on it.  Several weeks later we tried calling and going through the process again.  At this time we were told that we needed to resubmit the W-9 because they had never received it and that was why we hadn't been paid.  So we did and was told it would be mailed on Tues following the Marin Luther King Holiday on Monday.  One week later we still have not received our payment and have been trying to get ahold of someone.

Today, we were told that they ran out of checks at the printing office, if you can believe that!
So after being inspired by another post here on Rip off report about the same company, we took at different approach and contacted the company that had hired them and had the work done.  They are getting us a check asap and said they have been having all kinds of problems with this company and regretted hiring them.
Hope this helps an fellow contractors who work hard for their money and don't deserve to wait months to be paid!
