Ok, if you're reading this you already know what thugs these Advanced Moving guys are. I believe every complaint. It happened to me last year.
Long story short, you've heard it all before--much frustration, quote ripoff and a few things were busted (big shock!) and when you try to make a claim they point to this fine print clause which states they pay you 60 cents a pound.
So for example you're 100 pound $2000 HD tv gets smashed, you get a whopping $60.
I signed my claim release form (which states how "satisfied" I was with their services and releasing them from future liability etc etc.)
and sent it in. That was 8 months ago.
I have called off and on for the past few months (mostly for sport since I have no faith these cheats will do anything). Today they finally, officially decided to renege and deny my claim. It was so expected that I had to audibly laugh.
I will simply call the 888-918-6683 phone number everyday inquiring as to why I was denied.... until I have at least cost them $60
Under new laws, payphones companies charge a company with toll free 800 service 25 cents per call.

I welcome everyone ripped off by this sham operation to give em a call to let em know what you think of their service.
Channel all that pent up frustration (because nothing, NOTHING will ever happen to these slippery crooks) and the next time you pass those bank of pay phones, think 888-918-6683.

Why not have friends and family call them up to let them know that they had to put up with you while you ranted and raved about your stuff being held hostage, or how you were coerced into paying DOUBLE the quote when they showed up to load your stuff?
