I was contacted by a man who did not speak very good english and was difficult to understand. He told me that I had been chosen to receive a 5000.00 dollar government grant that was free money. This was on Thanksgiving day. He needed my routing number and account number along with the name and address of my bank.
I was told the money would be in the bank the next day. I was told that they would charge me a one time fee of 49.95. I was also given an authorization nuber to get the money out of the bank. I went to the bank and there was no money.
I closed my account and opened a new account. These people did not get any money thank god. Five days later I received a box with some coupons and a letter stating that for 299.?? which they would debit my account for, I would receive health, dental, and vision benefits.
I was given a phone number to cancel these benefits should I chose to do so. I called the number and could not get through to a live person. Although I did not lose any money, I did want to make this report so that this ripoff can be stopped.

if you closed your account these people cant touch you.do you really think these criminals would dare go after you for the 49.95?I had a draft from them of 299.95 reversed on my accouont and I defy them to show who and where they are to claim the money.listen these crooks get what they can and move on once its over.its illeagle what their doing.if they call back with some nonsense youll be sued or whatever please dont fall for it..this is your money..they are the criminals..this is not a real company..you are safe as long as you close your account...dont give anyone ever your bank info...

But I do have a question for you though, did you ever get charged and if they are still after the $49.95 ???
I have closed my account within 13hours and no charges were put on the cancelled account. I am just worried that with the recordings of me saying yes, that they would be able to debit me through my bank account, which I have canceled.
You response of "NO they didn't charge me after closing my account" would definatly make my Christmas go a lot smoother
