I wish to report being a "victim" of the Advantage Capital Mastercard Corporation. As far back as late March of this years, after being contacted and wanting to improve some poor credit I have, I told them to send me my new "Mastercard."
Only after they had taken out three (3) different bank "drafts" form my personal checking account in the amounts of; 59.95, 99.95 and then another 19.95, of which I do not ever remembering giving them that authorization, and waiting for several weeks for my card to arrive, did I decide to call and ask about the status of my account.
I first had to go through a "Main" 800 switching center, which tells you of several companies, of which I have now found I also fell for, you are given a numeric button to push, then given another 866 and/or 888 telephone number to call and contact them and/or the many other companies Advantage Capital must hide behind.
As of this, the 17th day of July, 2002 and some 12 phone calls and so many runarounds by a different attendant each call, I am ready to drive to where ever they a running the "boiler" room and go in and take the money they "stole" form me and my son from each one of them out of their own pockets.
Had it not been for the help of my 16 year old son, who is much more computer literate than I, and found RipOffReport.com for me, would I have at the very least, the satisfaction of letting others know of this company "boiler room" and "scam" operations.
