Advantage Capital mastercard...BEWARE!!! This card is most likely connected to other Credit Card Scams

This comany identifies itself as Advantage Capital Mastercard. After calling you, they offer unsecured mastercard w/ $5,000. limit ("fixed 0%) My husband mistakenly accepted thinking this was something we had previously filled out, they took our checking account, routing number of our bank, and "verified" his social security #! then, rep gave him a number to call in case he wanted to cancel-(was disconnected) We got the phone number from our bank after they electronically took out $174.00.

He called immediately, they said they would return the money via check in the mail within 7 to 10 days. Nothing came. He called again, they transfered him to another number,(dead air), Called again, spoke to another woman, she verified it was cancelled, and told him money would be sent back within 30 days. Nothing came.

Once again, called, next person said 30 WORKING days, still nothing.In the meantime, they took out an additional $99.00 from our account without our knowledge! He called again today, and was given 4 different phone numbers!

They would not say where they are located, nor do they have a legitimate website-(supposedly it's www.ephone telecom.com) doesn't exist!!!

The only information we have is the number from electronic bank withdrawl: 866-416-0668. Information says it's not listed! Nice business!!!We had to close our account and reopen. There should be an attorney or prosecuters out there that would jump on scams like this!!!!
