ADvantage LED Signs is an ETL and UL certified USA factory direct manufacturer of LED displays. Their LED signs are the highest quality, built for the harshest of environments and able to stand the test of time. Their factory is home to more than 50 skilled workers including engineers, fabricators, quality control administrators and software engineers. ADvantage LED offers a 5 year warranty with Nationwide On-Site Service plans available to protect your investment after the sale. Our skilled project managers will direct the build, logistics and installation of your display to your satisfaction. Their nationwide technical support staff will assist you with any remote diagnostics absolutely free of charge. Their support network offers advanced placement of on-site parts caches for clients needing maximum uptime and same day repairs. ADvantage LED Signs offers products and services to enhance any aspect of your business or organization including flex face, printed face, routered, vacuum formed ID cabinets and more.

Our factory output has increased 400% over the last year due to strengthening of the product quality and new technologies that we have developed to protect our product from the harsh outdoors.

Advantage LED is a company that provides nationwide LED sign services who manufactures and sells their own products. Their headquarters in Huston, TX has an art department and tech support internally to develop and implement solutions for their customers. Additionally, all of their signs are manufactured at their headquarters and then transported to the installation location directly.
The company states that when a customer inquiries about Advantages services, a sales representative gets in touch with the customer to discover their needs and desires for the sign. They do a complete analysis of the location using Google Earth to help determine the best size and pitch. A pitch is the distance between the LED diodes, the wider the pitch, the less expensive the sign and lowers the resolution of the sign. Additional factors that are reviewed for the sign proposal are dependent on the type of business, location of the business, and traffic of the surrounding area. After determining what is appropriate for the customer, a sales rep provides a written proposal to the customer that states pricing information and the packages available specific to the location.
During the sales process, Advantage LED states that they discuss their warranties with the client. They provide five year warranties for in house parts and labors. In the instance there is a part damaged, the company would run a diagnostics on the sign from their offices, overnight the parts and the customer would be responsible for the cost affiliated. They always have technical support available at no additional charge for installing repairs or modifications. Advantage does offer extended warranties for the boards (not the entire project) that cover onsite service calls if necessary.
After the sale of the sign, Advantage states that they have an internal project management department that handles the implementation of the project. They work with the client to continue to provide open communication and deal with the other components to the project, such as the wooden frame, bricks or any other special requests and artwork the client has specified. The company works with subcontractors and installers to complete the project. They state that the company has great relationships and communication with the contractors they use. Their installers are all required to be licensed sign contractors keep consistent and ensure all guidelines are being met. They are also required to provide proof of insurance liabilities and occasionally required to be electricians. Throughout the installation, the project manager is still keeping in contact with the client. At completion of the project the client is asked to sign off and provide feedback before the contractor is paid and the job is closed out.
After the installation of the sign, the client may still need technical support. Advantage states that a client can submit a request for technical support and their office can remotely run diagnosis and figure out the issue. If the problem can be solved remotely, the company has the capabilities to troubleshoot problems over the computer. If it is a more severe issue, tech support can ship parts needed to the customer to solve issues. Advantage constantly works to have good communication with the client through this process. If the client is not available to keep up with communication, it can slow down the time it takes to solve the problem, but the company is continually working to get better at communication in general.
In dealing with complaints, Advantage LED states that most of their complaints have come from an expectation of a client wanting the sign completed within a quick turnaround time. Due to the nature of the business, that expectation is not something the company feels that can provide in order to keep within the standards for their products. To address those issues they work to continually have good communication with the client. They have an internal policy that addresses orders in the order in which was received.

All customer information is held in a large database including, photos, schematics and other documentation about the clients installation and products. This enables the support staff to quickly locate the information needed about product configurations and setting to resolve support tickets quickly and efficiently. The tech manager stated, We have all of the clients information right at our fingertips. Just the other day I talked to a client who purchased over 3 years ago and was able to pull up the exact controller configuration and help them reconnect a cable that had become loose. Our onboard diagnostics does most of the work, it helps to locate disconnects within the control system. Once you locate the trouble area, it is just a matter of a few items to check out.
ADvantage LED Signs Customer Relationship Management Software allows them to keep a client specific case log of all interactions with their clients. This allows support staff to review past entries and client history to help quickly resolve support cases. ADvantage LED Signs recognizes that complaints posted on Ripoff Report (whether true or not) are issues that need to be addressed, not ignored. Advantage LED Signs & Lighting Mark Bullock This company lies and will say whatever it takes to take you money. Beware of liers! Houston, Texas
I found this company on the internet while searching for led signs, and decided to give them a call. I was transfered to a sales person named Mark Bullock. He gave me his pitch of why his led signs are the best there are, and there's none better. Then he gave me this outrageous price and when he heard my reaction, he immediately lowered it by a large amount of money. This should've been my first clue these guys were crooks. Over the next few weeks i was shopping other companies all while Mark kept calling and it seemed like he would tell me everything i wanted to hear about the sign. It came down to decision time and yet again, Mark discounted the sign again if i sign with their company that week. "But wait there's more" Mark claimed that since they are the "manufacturer" they can get my sign within 2 weeks. I ended up giving them a 50% deposit and nearly 3months have passed and i still have no sign. I've tried to get a hold of Mark and he won't return any calls. I'm trying to deal with other people in that company that are giving me empty promises every time i call. They called nearly everyday while trying to get my money, but now it's nearly impossible to reach anyone there. This company has horrible customer service and will say anything to get your money. Beware of this company.
After my "purchase" i did some research on this company and found that this company does not even have a year in business even though Mark claimed over 10 years. I also found out they are not manufacturers. Mark claimed that they manufacture their signs out of California, yet their own employees told me that the sign has not arrived yet from China!!! Who knows what type of sign i will receive in the end if i ever even receive it.
I have still not received my sign so i have to stay anonymous in the hopes of eventually getting it. But i have to post this so that other hard working business owners will be more cautious of this company and their empty promises. Especially in these hard uncertain times do your research before you purchase anything!!!

If you are a consumer looking to purchase from Advantage LED then check the www.bbb.org or request a DUNS number
as proof that the company is reputation. Do not give much faith and credit to Internet forums and bulletin boards
sites like this one. These claims are not verified nor investigated. This is simply a tool used to defame a companys good name in order for another to gain an edge and profit.
Let me direct you to some further unsavory information. The people believed to have posted this report were not customers, but are severed employees who have now started a business directly competing with Advantage LED.
In order to gain an edge, they posted these misleading reports naming hard working employees of Advantage LED and harming them financially. This type of deceit and malice plagues our world today.
Advantage LED Signs is a great company struggling just like you in a rough economy and marketplace. Dont
give credence to these false reports. Check the business out through reputable resources like the Better
Business Bureau and talk to existing clients who use the product. If you were directed here by a competitor of
Advantage LED, then you may have been speaking to the very people that wrote this report.

I am currently considering buying a sign from Advantage LED and I am interested in getting more information from the person that filed a complaint for that company. I have spoken with the same salesman in the report and do not want to go through the same experience as the gentleman in the complaint.
