This company was hired to lease my home and the people they found for me had 4 unlawful detainers!


I was not informed of these and I was briefly shown a credit report but was told by Chrissy I could not have the report. The document presented did not contain the information that I have recently recieved by her. The family lived in my house for 5 months and payed for 3 they packed up and left in the middlestate of the night on July 14th.


I was informed by Chrissy Fallon that she needed to charge me again to find new renters because it was a long drive for her. I have had several phone conversations with Todd Wilson ojwner he says sorry and that you were screwed but the document I signed relieves Chrissy from paying any money back to me(her fee was 1600). She misinformed me of the employment by stating a previous company for him and stated a previous employer for her as well. The women was unemployed and had been for about a year. The application said previous employers but Chrissy didn't read it because she listed to me all as current employment. She is unable to accurately read credit reports or applications...Be Careful avoid dealing with this company!

Does not sound like the Todd Wilson I know

I have never met this Crissy Fallon.  She may or may not be everything that has been written about her.  However, none of the report stated about Todd Wilson I believe is accurate.

I used a realtor, Fritz Taylor, with Advantage who found me a tenant in July.  Todd agreed to represent my interests in dealing with the tenant.  That tenant paid her monthly rent every month but in every other aspect was a nightmare.  She constantly complained and harassed Todd and myself with frivolous complaints.  Todd helped me get rid of her and contacted Fritz (who was now employed with a different realty company) and Fritz and Todd replaced her at no charge to me with a wonderful new tenant within three weeks.  Todd was reassuring throughout the ordeal and always championed my interests as his client.   I have never met him in person, but over the conversations on the phone and his diligent work on my behalf, I would strongly recommend his company and his services.  He stands behind his company and his reputation.  Please do not take the word of one individual over the word of a trusted professional like Todd Wilson.

I would also recommend Fritz Taylor as a realtor as well with his hard work, but it appears the person's complaint listed has nothing to do with his abilities.  Also, just because I have the same last name as Todd, I am not related to Todd.  I'm a very happy, very recent client of his.

Then give her the money back. You may have thousands of happy customers, but you have one really pissed off one right now who has a financial loss due to the incompetence of Ms. Fallon, your employee.

 The proper thing to do is make it right You should sue them. If by some weird chance you lose, appeal it and run up their legal bills. (once you appeal then must hire a lawyer which will cost them more than the $1600. Also, file a complaint with the Minnesota Dept of Commerce.

You may also file a complaint by: E-mailing the Division at (((Redacted))) Call the Market Assurance Division of the Department of Commerce at 651-296-2488 or 1-800-657-3602. Calls are accepted from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Don't let them get away with this!!!!

 

Take it to the matt. For the sake of other victims make them pay you, or 5 times the amount defending themselves.

Clarification to extremly rare situation

In regards to the above situation.  Advantage Real Estate has had hundreds of successful leasing transactions.  We have never had a single complaint.  There is a specific protocol all state licensed agents need to follow by law.  If an unexperienced landlord does not comply with all legal contractual obligations tenants will not comply either.  In the complaint above the landlord breached the lease.  Advantage Real Estate will guarantee and replace any tenant at no charge if the landlord feels we did not fulfill our obligations.  Please go to our website at www.advantage.me to read all the positive feedback we will continue to get.
