I went to a bible study here in Tennessee with some of the distributors and all they spoke about is how advocare is so great. What happen to talking about God during a bible study? I felt like I was trick to come to the bible study and then they kept bugging me about joining the business.
I was upset because they use God as a tool to get people to sign up. A distributor by the name of Chris Stegg is a big scam artist, he says he will help you then goes behind your back stealing people from you. If you see this man stay away, I mean it people, he only cares about you spending the 2,100 and that's it. Another guy buy the name of wes buewley is also a scam artist goes around swearing he is making over ten gran a month, then you go to his house and its completely empty and also found out his car is on a lease and is trying to sell it cause he can't afford it and nobody wants to buy it. That's what you get for trying to buy a car like a viper and using it to get people to lust after you and praise you. I'm telling you Advocare isn't going to last long its already dying down in Tennessee and people that came over from Texas are looking for other states to scam people. If you get into advocare good luck people because people don't have 2,100 just laying around in their house. Another thing the products isn't for every one, I know people that have taken the products correctly and have gotten real sick, gotten real bad head aches, vomiting and shacking real bad. You can really get sick using these products. So I advice people to stay away from advocare.
Ps...If you do get into advocare, they say you don't have meet a quota once you spend 2,100, bull crap, every two weeks you have spend 300$ or 600$ in order to get paid. So really think about that before you make the person that sign you up money.

I was going through the Yahoo personals and a person put a ad in the personals about advocare and make big money and we are a Christian base company. I called the person and he was over in about 45 minutes. I was sold with his high power marketing. I started putting ads on the net and got my license suspended.
WoW! Advocare states no internet advertising. I was than blamed for a letter that some one wrote that was the truth about advocare. I got a very threatening letter from there high powered 2 bit supposely attorney that turned out to be a paralegal. I was goiing to get sued and all kind of stuff. I got threatning mesages left on my answering machine from other advocare employers.
Advocare hates to see anything negative on the net about them. The modern times of the internet has help people from getting ripped off from these so called Christian scamers. So any of these people that respond to these negative postings are only people trying to line there pocket with green. Now you will also get one of these idiots coming back with this person can not even spell correctly.
Dont listen to him. Yes I do not spell very good but I try to be as honest as possible and my message is still getting across. Have a good day.

High Pressure sales from Advocare (grape spark drink)
AUTHOR: Kelly - (U.S.A.)

We had an employee that would try to sale Advocare products on the job to fellow employees..I have tried this product and know it can cause the heart to race and have other employees act like they have drank way to much caffine (nervous, anxious and at times unable to deal with esculated behaviors the disabled persons they worked with)
At one point the person saleing the Advocare was attempting to sale to the handicapped population. at that point I had to tell the person to stop and no longer allowed the product on the property..Now 3 yrs later I am working as a group home manager again with the mentally handicapped population.
One of the residents has a therapist that sales Advocare grape drink (spark) he gives the resident a packet of the drink every time he sees him insisting that it helps him and makes it easier to deal with. Now the therapist wants this resident to start purchasing it from him at 45 dollars for 9 drink mix packets.
My oppinion on all this is are we so bad off that we need to exploit and take advantage of mentally handicapped folks to sale a product that certainly is expensive and unprodictable as advocare spark dink. these people involved with advocare have a huge investment in this product and will do anything to unload it. two thumbs down for advocare and its sales accociats.

Yea I will admit that some of the products for certain people work well but at the same time you can get the same products at your local GMC less expensive and works the same. You are constantly pumping a lot of money in the company in order to meet high demand quotas in order to get paid.
My up line told me once you become an advisor you will always qualify as one, just found out you have to qualify every year if not you lose your membership. I have met so many people tell me they felt they were being brain washed and foolish because how the system is set up in advocare for you to fail.
I don't know too many people that have over 2 grand to start a business pushing pills that is not a guarantee business. Yea you are right when you say advocare is a tool to a healthier lifestyle and so is eating right and exercising. The amount of money you spend buying those expensive vitamins you could buy it on healthy food with some money left over for gas. Bottom line if you are willing to convince people making them believe advocare is the greatest vitamin in the world just like that one guy on T.V use that same motivation and earn a degree instead of wasting energy on advocare. It kills me hearing how ignorance people get when you spit some truth and fact about a fraud business like advocare.
All the negative things you have heard on this website about advocare are really the truth and I hope you don't become the next victim and get brain washed. May God bless those

Advocare is good for people that can afford it and their bodies can handle all the pills they have to take, mam you may not be able to understand why someone would bash on advocare is because the company does brain wash their people, there is a lot of greed with the company that I experience so you can't call it a godly company, don't bash on someone about their salvation because they are telling you their side of the story, How Christian like is that when you bash on others for speaking their minds even if they are wrong, every ones story is different, People like you makes me glad that I got out of doing advocare, its all a pyramid scheme, you seem them once, you seem them all

I just do not understand how anyone could say such demoralizing statements about a company.
Maybe it's because the person needs that attention when they say something negative.
I also think honestly for all who say negative things about something they will go through trials with god!! I also think they need to pray for their salvation and understand the meaning of christianity and how we lift people up and not bring people down. Maybe because you have such negativity is a lack of nutrition and well you just need some Spark!! I had to get that one in there, but I just wanted to state my feelings and let everyone know that I have had great results and I am sticking to my goals and not letting anyone bring me down!!!
Love in Christ,

So, quit your moaning and groaning and be a responsible adult and research any venture. Advocare is not for my family some of the ingredients are iffy and I will not risk my life or anyone elses to make money. I got my $40 back-and all I had to do was send the kit and a nice note saying this isn't what I wanted.

Yes you do have to spend money to make money - that is a given in any business. It is how you distribute the product and make a moment in someones life. The product may make you sick or it may not. If it does then it is not for you. The power in anything is your belief in it. I feel sorry for the people who have joined and had no succes and I praise the ones who have. I hope that I will have good succes.
I have seen the pros and cons of Advocare and try to be positive. Do you think if Wal-Mart shut there doors the first time they had a upset customer they would be were they are today. Hello that is the risk of doing business. The reason I am responding to these messages is that if you are negative you will never succed at anything.
If it didn't work for you than move on. I bet everyone who thinks Advocare is a scam probaly are weak at mind and thought they were going to get rich quick. Nobody took the money out of you pocket. Learn to say no and walk away. It is easy to do.
Good luck to everyone.

ADVOCARE IS WHAT YOU MAKE IT
AUTHOR: Ernest - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Thursday, August 12, 2004
I used their customer service (distributor support) a lot when recommending product to people. I would place them on 3-way. There were times that I would recommend something different for a person based on what distributor support said. I had some people that didn't take well to a product. The difference with me I feel is that I always checked with all of my people the very first day they started using products. For the few that didn't take well with the product they got from me, I did one of three things. The actions I took were either to change to a different product, make sure they took it correctly and in a few cases I offered a refund. On the other hand, most of my customers were satisfied with the products. It was an expected ratio. We all love it when everything is going well, but the truth is everything doesn't always go well. When the unpleasant things are at a minimal, the whole picture looks better. To me this is a very realist business. Everyone is different.
As far as the religious aspect. Most of my friends in the Advocare are christians. The funny thing is when we talk it's not always about Advocare. I don't think it's a cult. If you ever go to their convention (Success School), you'll see that on Sunday morning the convention hall is packed. Guess what their talking about. They are having church. (music, preaching, praying, the works) I think it's pretty solid, but you have to check it out for yourself. They continue with the convention after the church service, but they don't insist that you continue on with the convention at that moment if you are giving you life to God.
Part of their church service is to have ministers available. I don't know if the ministers are part of their staff, or just minister from the city, or volunteers from among us. I just know that their emphasis was to put God above any matter of business. That says a lot to me about Advocare as a company & it's leadership. They're not using God to as a tool to get people involve with Advocare. They are just being themselves.
In this case most of them just seem to be christians. There is a certain freedom when you can relax and just be yourself. I would be stupid to think that there are not people that might have other motives. I guess I was always around a great bunch of people.
I'm not trying to convince anyone one way or the other. Everyone has their own experiences with these things. This was my experience. I've been out of the business for about one year. If the business has changed, I hope someone out there in the business would respond and let me know.
I love advocare for all that the company has provided for me. I wish everyone had the opportunities to find out just what good can come out of them.

Advocare: It is not a Rip-off! Advocare makes no claims
AUTHOR: Vanessa M. - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Tuesday, June 29, 2004
It isn't a scam like most of the products out in the market today that make claims that are not realistic. Advocare makes no claims-they don't have to. We as distributors and advisors are not telemarketers. We help people that want to make a change in their lives.
Most of the time they come to us by recommendations from other's success on product. The products and the system do work. I apologize for your encounter with people that may not know what this company is about.
There is such a great support system and whenever or if ever you wanted to withdraw from the company you can. There will always be some person in a company that give the rest of us a bad name but noone is forced to take product and definately noone is forced to sign up to distribute. Every company caters to someone different.
Just because this company isn't your cup of tea doesn't mean that it wouldn't work for someone else. I'm so sorry that you were misinformed about the company. To the reference of money-yes of course everyone wants to make money and no matter what you do-invest or what have you-you have to put forth the effort to succeed in business and in life.
Good Luck and God Bless!

Whose's brain washed?
AUTHOR: Eddie - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Tuesday, May 11, 2004
Yes, there is a bit of a problem with the claim that you can get into the business with $40.00. The fact is that it is possible but not likely to lead to much success as the $40 qualifies you as a dealer but doesn't get you any product. Now, for another 50 or so you can buy some product, go out and sell it at retail and start to build a business, one step at a time. It's been done, I've met people who did it this way, it's just harder - kind of like building a Walmart by buying one brick a day. (I'm sure someone will have fun with that analogy.) The $2100, well that's more like buying your own mini-store. With that you have enough product to actually make some money when you sell it at retail prices.
Now, putting that aside, the real reason that I'm writing is because this complaint started out based on a religious meeting. I wasn't there so I won't argue with the accusation that the guy in the original story abused the Bible meeting. However, I will tell you this, I've met Todd Cash as well as all the rest of the officers in Advocare. Everyone of them is strong in their Christian beliefs and unlike most of corporate America they aren't afraid to admit it. My introduction to Advocare came through one of the best Christian men I've ever met and I know for a fact that he and his wife have made over 2 million dollars in Advocare and they have done it in an honest, Christian manner.
Advocare is a class operation and it's unfortunate that you guys met up with some bad apples but every company has them.
I wish each of you success in whatever you have chosen to pursue. I'm not sure Advocare is the business for me, but I know I'm better off for having met them and learned from them.
