Al Bowman as seen in numerous reports on this site over MANY years is a scam artist/BS artist who will promise entertainers (musicians, comedians, whichever) whatever he can think up. Al Bowman will then charge a fee for the entertainer to "win" an award.
He also claimed to have performance spots available at a festival in Las Vegas NV which it turned out what he had promised fell through.
He also will forget his promises and blow you off if he doesn't see you as a repeat customer or if you just happen to slip his mind.
Unfortunately I did not see the numerous reports on this site about Al Bowman until it was too late.
His awards shows are 100% fake- no one really "wins" anything, its all bought and paid for , and even then buyer beware, its a roll of the dice if you get what you paid for, or if a portion or all of what was promised is not actually delivered.
As I've read on other reports on him filed by other people, once you call him out on his BS he will try to slander you.  Thankfully my name is golden and the only one talking BS is Al so its completely transparent what he is doing.

How the awards show industry works

For those who do not know or do not understand how the business of awards show recognition works, here is a brief explanation of how the Academy Awards, Grammy Awards and the Los Angeles Music Awards select their nominees and then involve them in their awards process.

THE OSCARS: To be considered for an Academy Award or Oscar, a film maker, director, producer or actor must first submit their project with an attached label stating: For Your Consideration. The initial fee for this first step in the Academy Awards process is $400. Over 20,000 people submit their material for Oscar consideration every year. Only about 200 will win
a coveted nomination. If a CONSIDERATION actually wins a nomination, the production company is given the opportunity to purchase 2 to 4 tickets to attend the event. Tickets to this event and its preceding press events costs thousands of dollars for the Oscar nominees. Whether they receive an Oscar or not, they still have to pay a lot for their participation in the events. If they utilize their Oscar nomination correctly, they can turn it into box office success for their project. Ultimately, it is up to the honoree to make the most of their recognition.

THE GRAMMY'S: First, any artist who is going to be considered for FIRST BALLOT NOMINATION CONSIDERATION, they must first meet a massive amount of qualifying criteria. The National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences (NARAS) has a fee of $175 per song submission, or $350 for an album submission. Voting on nominees is done by members who pay $165 per
year as a voting member of NARAS. There are about 15,000 voting members who cast ballots every year. If a nominee, recipient or voting member wishes to attend the Grammy event at Staples Center, they can purchase tickets through their own involvement with NARAS. Tickets in the first ten rows with the star acts sitting in that section start at $10,000 per seat. Anything in the lower bowl loge section of Staples Center average about $1,000 per seat. A seat in the last row of the rafters will average about $150. Like an Oscar winner or nominee, if a music artist has a good marketing sensibility about their career ambitions, they can do quite well in the commercial marketplace with this kind of recognition. They just have to do a strong publicity campaign to let the world know about their achievements.

THE LOS ANGELES MUSIC AWARDS: The Los Angeles Music Awards was the first program of its kind created for the ever expanding independent music market. If an artist or band would like to submit their material for consideration of a
nomination in this program, they are asked to go to www.lamusicawards.net/submit and pay a fee of $9.00 for their first song submission, and $5.00 for each additional song they wish to upload. After LA Music Awards producers evaluate the music material, they will either send a rejection letter, which happens about 90% of the time, or they will contact the artist to inform them of a nomination OFFER. The offer that is made does require that the potential nominee actively participate in in THREE LA Music Awards press events held during the year. That means that they must attend each event in person. Only at
the initial press event in June are they asked to purchase tickets. Each of two subsequent events the artist receives TWO complimentary tickets to attend. Purchasing additional tickets friends and fans is optional. It IS NOT mandatory. If a nominee would like to perform at any of the LA Music Awards Press Events, they are asked to find a suitable company sponsor that would like to have the LA Music Awards publicity and marketing department assist them with service or product promotion on behalf of the sponsored artist or band. This is all clearly spelled out in the written contracts put forth by Phoenix Music Awards LLC, the parent company of the Los Angeles Music Awards production. Like the mainstream awards programs,
recognition in this program can assist any aspiring public figure music celebrity to gain a competitive advantage in the commercial marketplace.
