Al Jeffords Carol Brewer Nu Shield Big Promisses for Lots of Money but No Payout Santa Maria, California

I was first contacted by Al to participate in a door to door marketing plan.  He guaranteed a 100% return on my investment with a profit in the thousands of dollars in only 90 days.  The initial investment was $1000 and I had to provide my own business cards.  I chose not to participate in this adventure.

Next Al proposed joining his team that was developing an energy saving system to be sold to businesses.  He explained that it was a revolutionary new system and there would be world wide involvement.  We would be coming in at the top level (management) and the profits would be staggering!  In the hundreds of thousands of dollars within just a few months.  I was interested to learn more, so I continued to meet with Al and Carol. 

After spending many hours on-line learning about this "technology" we got together to make up a business plan consisting of office decor, dress codes, employee benefit packages, etc.  I took many notes and made several drafts of this plan but each time we met there were changes that needed to be made.

Al mentioned there were "two other owners" and he was brought in to expedite the process to get the product in production asap.  After about a month with "no commitment to move forward" from the other 2 owners, Al and Carol decided to use the "technology" information to further their own energy business ideas. 

Again, being interested in a new business venture, I was willing to meet with them and discuss their ideas and plans.  Again, a plan was in place for advertising, an office, and a shop to develop and convert fuel cars to all electric cars.  This was all supposed to happen by June 15th.  As of today, June 25th, there is nothing in place.

I have not invested anything but time with Al and Carol.  They stated that they were "Christians" and that led me to believe I could trust them.  Alot of promises but nothing solid has been established or forth coming.  At this point I am done with them.

To their credit, they do have a good auto detailing product, but come on...$1500 to detail a car?  That's absurd!!!
