this is the most rudest, dishonest, company that i dealt with ever; here is the story; me and my wife desided to go on a lake tahoe, california steam boat cruise; trip was for 2pm; i googled up tickets and the sponsored site came up as alcatrazmedia.com; went to this site and ordered tickets on line @ 10:20am; the transaction went through smoothly and it gave me a different site something like tickets123.com and a reservation #; you go there and print up your tickets;

tried multiple times for an hour to print them and couldn't because the site kept telling me it couldn't find my reservation number; called the customer number to try solve the problem and got hang up by the customer service people multiple times; left message on their answering machine about the above problem of unable to print my tickets from their site; kept on calling the same day and got kept on hanged up on after the first "hello"; they finally answered my voice message, but 2.5 days later;

i talked to them and explained the situation and told them that i had to buy tickets from another company (the direct providers of MS DIXIE TRIP IN LAKE TAHOE) and my trip had to be post poned the same day because i couldn't print up these tickets; the customer service person that i spoke to said its not their problem that i couldn't print the tickets but he felt "sorry" that it happened and reminded that all transactions are FINAL WITH NO REFUND FOR ANY REASON.

I could only wish that i done a research on this company ALCATRAZ MEDIA INC, before i bought; obviously they don't want customer retention or good word of mouth. PLEASE SAVE YOUR SELF A HEADACHE AND DON'T BUY ANY TICKETS FROM THEM.

Why would an ex-employee be complaining about a Nashville Sightseeing.com website regarding tours for Lake Tahoe which are in California? It would seem that Sergey is looking for a forum to use a number of unpleasant and false words about Alcatraz Media for some hidden agenda. We would welcome the opportunity for Sergey to contact us directly to discuss his claims through the phone number for Lake Tahoe or, if he prefers our Tennessee websites. Thank you , and we welcome his enquiry.

I'm a former employee of alcatraz media I'm here to tell you all tour price are quadrupled and 99% of the companies that run the tours have no idea that alcatraz media is overcharging and not giving refunds. There must be a problem when employees are advised not to give out the true owner's name and your complaints go to a voicemail that is checked by employees and discarded once they hear the first sentence. The attrition rate at Alcatraz Media is unbelievable! Most employess quit within 2-5 days of being hired after they learn of Alcatraz Media decietful practices. I urge all consumers go directly to the tour operator to purchase your ticket and research before purchasing. And if the Alcatraz Media sight is down do not double click submit on your order because you will end with 10 tickets for 10 clicks and there is "NO REFUND"

Alcatraz Media, Inc. Response: No one named Sergey googled Lake Tahoe tickets and came up with alcatrazmedia.com. This makes us wonder if this might be a competitor masquerading as a customer making a complaint. Sergey Yermalitskiy did, however, place an order for a Lake Tahoe Cruise with Alcatraz Media, Inc.'s web site, www.LakeTahoeTours.net. The order was not placed at 10:20 am as this complaint falsely claims. The Alcatraz Media, Inc. computer system tracks every order with time and date stamps, and this order was entered as follows: Date Entered: 10/20/2008 3:33 AM ET, IP Address of Customer Placing Order: 75.26.166.102, Entered By: Online Order -- LakeTahoeTours.net.

Alcatraz Media, Inc. Response: Sergey might very well have tried unsuccessfully for an hour to print his E-Ticket, because his E-Ticket could not be processed at 3:33 am when our office is closed. When you place an order at 3:33 am in the morning, you do not receive immediate confirmation on tickets as is clearly explained on the web site and on the contract that Sergey Yermalitskiy signed when he placed his order. The web site states very clearly on every page: You will receive an E-Ticket for your tour/activity. We attempt to provide your E-Ticket within 72 hours (if your tour/activity is in less than 10 days). If your tour/activity is within the next 72 hours, your E-Ticket will be processed as quickly as possible. The web page that displayed immediately after Sergey Yermalitskiy placed his order stated: An electronic ticket (E-Ticket/Voucher) confirmation will be provided to Customer. This is normally provided to not later than 10 days prior to Customer's tour/activity or within 72 hours (if Customer's tour/activity is in less than 10 days). If your tour/activity is within the next 72 hours, your e-ticket will be processed as quickly as possible. The E-Ticket will be provided at www.reserve123.com/tickets; simply enter your email address and the date of the tour/activity. Please print the E-ticket/Voucher and present it on the date of the tour/activity. As a courtesy, we will also send a copy of the E-Ticket by email. It is the Customer's responsibility to print the E-Ticket, and this can be done from any computer with an Internet connection anywhere in the world; just go to www.reserve123.com/tickets.
Sergey Yermalitskiy's reservation request was processed and sent to the cruise line in Lake Tahoe, California for confirmation at 7:51 am ET on October 20, 2008 a little over 4 hours after Sergey placed his order and 9 minutes before our office opened for business on October 20. At 12:01 pm ET, shortly after the cruise line office opened for business in California at 9:01 PT time, the tour was confirmed and Sergey's E-Ticket was issued.
The Alcatraz Media telephone system and computer system confirms that Sergey called ONCE on 10/20/08 - 11:08 AM. Katie, and outstanding Reservations Agent, took the call, and noted that the customer called to ask about his E-Ticket. She noted that the tour was scheduled for the same day at 2 pm. She sent a message to the Ticketing department to process ASAP. At 12 noon Eastern Time (9:00 am Pacific Time), Evonne, an Alcatraz Media Ticketing Agent, called the cruise line and obtained confirmation # 8081UD, and learned that the customer should arrive by 1:30 PM. Evonne sent the E-Ticket to Sergey at 12:01 PM Eastern Time (9:01 AM Pacific Time). This was as fast as this tour could have been processed as it was confirmed within one minute after the supplier confirmed the tour.
So, at any time after 9:01 am on October 20, 2008, Sergey's ticket could be printed as is clearly explained on our web site and on our telephone system.

Alcatraz Media, Inc. Response: We never hang up on people once much less multiple times! We do not have any problems with our telephone system that would cause anyone to be hung up on. Sergey has again made false and damaging claims against Alcatraz Media, Inc. that simply are not true. Sergey didn't call and get hung up on. Our telephone system and computer system show the following: 10/21/08 - 7:56 PM - Tegan - customer called, stated he missed the cruise because of traffic; he arrived late..advised can't refund or change because confirmed. So, Sergey didn't have trouble printing his E-Ticket. He simply arrived late and missed the cruise. Sergey has lied in this report, and in our opinion, his false complaint constitutes libel and has been done in an attempt to improperly damage our company.

Alcatraz Media, Inc. Response: This simply is not factual. Sergey did not show up for his scheduled cruise, and there is no refund for no shows, as Sergey agreed in a signed contract when he placed his order.

Alcatraz Media, Inc. Response: In our opinion, Sergey's response is false, damaging, libelous, and is designed to wrongly damage our company. We object to sites such as this one that allow people to file false complaints against reputable companies such as ours. We now consider this to be a legal matter, and we intend to pursue legal action against Sergey Yermalitskiy.
