I went to Alert Cellular to upgrade my daughter's phone September 2008. I picked out the LG 8350 in red. They did not have it in stock but could order it for me and it would be there by Saturday the 13th. I received a call that my phone had arrived. I picked it up the 13th from Toni. i was in a bit of a hurry because my niece was getting married and I needed to go. I thanked Toni and left. Sunday after I rested I decided to input everyone's numbers for my daughter. When I opened the box I was dumbfounded, speechless, and frankly TICKED OFF!!! There was not a user manuel, no charger, the phone was placed in a box and that was it. This was to be a birthday present a two year upgrade and I got a used phone. I was so angry I took it back to the VERIZON store, Jon looked up the ESN number to find that this particular phone which had been promised to me would be brand new had actually been activated on two lines. Now I am ticked. I had to take the phone back to Alert Cellular. Toni was there and I explained to her how pissed off I was that this phone was not new. I wanted a refund. I was told then that it would take catch this "Two Weeks to get my money back!" I demanded to speak to the manager. She called them and I was told the refund goes through a diffrent company so it takes two weeks to get it. Well a month later no refund. I return to the store, Toni has now quit and the people at the counter have NO CLUE what I am talking about. My husband goes to the store again no one knows what we are taking about, it shouldn't take this long for a refund BUT NO ASSISTANCE AT ALL as to where in the hell is our money!!! I'm really upset call the manager Michael, who tells me he will definately check into it and call me back. two days later I call him back....Well um Jody will be calling you for your information on Thursday. Thursday about 2 oclock no calls from anyone. I call Michael, I call Jerry the regional Manger explain my situtation ( I STILL HAVE NOT GOT A CALL BACK FROM HIM) I finally get Jody's number and the poor girl who answered the phone had no idea what was going on other than a raving lunatic was on the other end...but please by this time THREE MONTHS later would you not be pissed off as all hell. This poor gal tells me that Jody won't be in until Saturday and that my refund will not be processed until then. I promptly told her that I was usre there was someone in the office who had fingers who could KINDLY put my refund in the system. I was getting no where with her and asked for her manager. I got Tearney who promised me my refund would be processed that day (it was a Thursday) and that it would take 72 hours. Well Wednsday I still had no money. I called Jody again, I finally got money in my account on Thursday. BUT GUESS WHAT?? i just checked my account and the BASTURDS have debited my account for the same amount. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?? Can they debit my account like this unauthorized???? This could possibly put my account in some serious jeporady. I want to sue them for all the troubles, lies, and continuing games they are playing with me. What can I do???? If this goes through tomorrow I will blow an artery I'm so mad.
