Alize Apartments Mold/Water Leak Issues and Lawsuits Abound at Alize Apartments Aliso Viejo California

Unless you enjoy living with mold, water leaks, and think fair housing laws are over-rated, you should live elsewhere!  Regional manager handled our mold and water leak issue - that went on for months in two different apartments - extrememly unethically and unprofessionally.  Turned into a lawsuit.  We won, but they were a nightmare!  Shockinly arrogant disregard for fair housing law and customer service from the top management down...

I know several people who lived there and every single one of them had water leak or mold problems and serveral people I know are suing them also.  

Repairs were done incompetantly and didn't fix the problem for over 6 months.  We lived in a sunny 2nd story unit during the 3rd hottest summer on record with zero air or air conditioning due to mold in our a/c system.  It was over 100 degrees in our apartment for weeks on end!  They had months to fix it and didn't.  

After 6 months of incompetant and unsuccessful repairs, we relocated to another apartment that also had a  chronic water leak and worse mold!   They failed to comply with fair housing law, we had to pay for a hotel and move under duress right before Christmas!  

Long story short, we were in a law suit and won, but we've yet to recover our attorney fees or rent that we paid for an uninhabitable, moldy place.  We've wasted thousands of dollars and WE are the VICTIMS!!!

I had such serious allergic reactions that I had to take multiple rounds of antibiotis, and steriods to recover from the onging respiratory infection.  A few months after we moved out I also had to have sinus surgery.  

I was shocked at the arrogance and unporfessionalism of the Regional Manager, Kari.  There should never have been a lawsuit if fair housing laws were simply followed.  We were extremely patient and professional during MONTHS of waiting for repairs,  shuffing a few days here and there to temporary housing, hotels, and the problem wasn't resolved...and WE had to pay a lawyer????  We were the victims and yet we were the ones being treated unjustly!  Absolutely shocking that people like this are in the housing industry. 

All they seem to care about is their bottom line.  Don't live here and tell everyone you know to stay away!!! Shockingly arrogant disregard for fair housing law and customer service!!!!
