My Fiance and I bought a 3 month old cairn poo from All About Puppies january 24,2011. We took her to "their" vet and she was diagnosed with the parasite Giardia and treated.The vet tech told us to come back in 6 months when our vet said she should be checked every 3 weeks.That was our 1 minor incident..and by the way I pointed out 2 hernias to "their" vet that he didnt even notice.
On February 23,2011 I took our puppy out for potty.We were outside 10 minutes.I then brought her(Foxxy)back into the house where she continued running around and playing as usual and all of a sudden she yelped and fell flat on the floor..she collapsed!My fiance Jeff and I were frantic and confused and then he said get in the car luckily there was a vet hospital 2 blocks away. After she collapsed all her bowel and urine came out. I picked her up and she started to convulse and then she went completely stiff.We ran out to the car where more bowel came out and there she dropped limp stopped breathing,her heart stopped and she took let go of her last breath of air.We ran into the vets office frantically explaining the situation I handed her over limp as a noodle and all of a sudden she came back...barely breathing and barely alive we waited for the veterinarian. He told us everything sounded and looked fine and her glucose levels were fine.He told us what ever it is its and underlying condition shes had prior to our purchase.The tests for those results are too exspensive for us.And the vet also reminded me of the 2 hernias that she has that we must keep an eye on and those are prior to purchase as well. Something that "their" vets happened to miss!!??
On February 24,2011 exactly a month since weve bought Foxxy,I called All About Puppies and asked to speak with a manager and there was not one on duty so they gave me the customer service line and said they should be able to help you. Turns out customer service is Owner Regina Galloway. I told her my horrifying experience and she told me,"Im going to hang up on you,your lying! That has never happened to any puppy in my 15 years of experience!" I tried to ask her about the 1 year warranty for congenital and hereditary coverage she says,"well read the papers!! Your responsible for everything!!!" She continued to call me a lyer and hung up on me.My fiance Jeff called her back and said,"hi were you the lady that just talked to whitney(me) and she cut him off and responded," I dont even care who you are,I dont give a sh*#! You can f*#$ off!!!" And then hung up on him. We then went up to the store to request information on the puppy we purchased...they wont give us our certificate,they wouldnt give us the owners full name. They then called her and Regina told them if we dont leave to call the sheriffs. All we wanted was our puppys certificate and they said they gave to the vet and to get anything we want including information on where the puppies come from we have to contact customer service(Regina) The only way we found out her name was through the internet.The girls in the store were very rude and short with us.We know the breeders name but not what company she works for Im positive it was just another puppymill like all the chains! they asked if I had the breeders USDA number and I said,"no you guys wont give it to me." Well we dont have it,some puppies do and some dont." Makes no sense this place is rediculous I advise that no one buys puppies from here EVER! And when we left another couple said their puppy died 2 days after! We have the right to know where a puppies come from and to have all their paper work handed to us when the purchase is complete!!! What a RIPPOFF!!!!!
