In April of 2009 our church in Denver, Colorado purchased 900 chairs from the website 1stackablechairs.com. It was promised that 600 of the 900 chairs would be delivered at the end of the month, with the following 300 coming at the end of May.

The 600 chairs did come, but two weeks late. During those two weeks we rented chairs which we were told we would be reimbursed for.

At the end of May, the 300 remaining chairs never came. At over $20 per chair, this was a loss of well over $6,000.

We would call the warehouse over at Stackable Chairs, or 1st Folding Chairs (Larry's company has about 5-10 different names) and would be put on hold. We would be told that the chairs were on the way, and would arrive (fill in the blank with a date). This happened LITERALLY dozens of times.

We would speak directly with Larry, and he would blatantly lie about the chairs, saying that they were on their way.

This kind of discussion went on WEEKLY until February of 2010.

At that point we filed a BBB complaint against Larry and Stackable Chairs.

He told the BBB that he was fedexing a check for the money he owed our ministry. What a surprise to find that Larry lied again. He even gave a fake tracking fedex number.

This is currently unresolved. We are out over $6,000 and have already purchased additional chairs from another source. This company and man are truly frauds.
