EX gasoline station owner With inside information

Here's some information for you folks out there to pass along to your friends. What I'm about to tell you his information that no gas station would want the public to know about. When we take deliveries of gas to be delivered to the station that we own We have to make sure that there's enough room in the tank for the load that is being Delivered.
If we only have 5000 gallons of room in the tank we can only take 5000 gallons of gas in the tank If we go over that limit it sets off alarms Telling us that were putting to much product into the tank. If the tank is designed to only hold 10,000 gallons we cannot go over 90% Of that limit. We also need to keep an eye on how much water is in the tank Most all gas stations have what is called a Veeder Root.
It is a electronic measuring device that tells us how many inches of gas is in the tank at that time that we push the button to read the levels. It also tells us and not the public how many inches of water is in the tank. That information we would never reveal to the public. Think about it if your local gas station told you that there were 6 inches of water in the tank would you go to that station or one down the street?
Next time you go to your favorite gas station ask them to print off a Veeder root print out And see if they will show it to you as to how many inches of water they currently have in their tank.
When purchasing gas make sure you select a gas station that does not have concrete that's all busted up and cracked it looks very OLD. If there's busted up concrete and it rains that water can go down into the ground and rust the outside of the tank If the tank is made of steel and has been there a long time.
Make sure that you select a gas station that has not been there very long time make sure it was recently built in the last two or three years. The newer tanks are made of composite material that do not rust or sweat and accumulate measurable amounts of water in the tank.
If the gas station has been there very long time and the concretes all Bostana that's a warning sign to you to STAY AWAY From that station. I am attaching a picture of what a Veeder Root machine looks like I challenge you to see if the gas station owner will print out a copy and let you see it, That way you can see for yourself if that station has water in the tank

It also shows the results of FTC and poliitcal investigations of the pricing policies and determines it's all market driven and legal.
This is from numerous "investigations" over many years.
The politicians are particularly likely to put on a pricing dog and pony show in election years.
They summon the oil companies to show up and defend themselves, inferring, they've (again) done something wrong.
Hope it gives some insight into how all this works.
We've cut our driving a lot and consolidate trips to different places on the same day.
