This is the very short version of what has been happening with the moving company we, unfortunately, hired to move us from Texas to Oklahoma.  On 4/28/12, Allstar Movers Co (US DOT 1824895 / MC 662089 / Address:  222 North Federal Highway, Dania, FL 33304) picked up all our belongings.  We have been married for 34 years and have 3 children.  What they loaded on their truck is much more than just furniture that can be replaced its everything we have accumulated over the years and cannot be replace. 

Once we knew the closing date on the home we purchased here, I called them to have them deliver to the new place.  They promised a delivery date of 9/3/12.  We checked out of the temporary apartment and waited for our property at our new home.  They did not show and did not call to let us know they would not show.  We called and sent emails complaining and they set up another delivery date of 9/6/12.  The same thing happened.   We again called and emailed and another delivery was set for 9/9/12 with the same results and then again on 9/15/12. 

Over the course of all these calls, we found out where they were storing our property.  Saturday visited the public storage place and found out that they had not emptied the unit so we knew they would not be delivering it that day either.  We also found out that they have not paid the rent and our property is at jeopardy of being auctioned.  They told the manager of the storage facility that they had not paid because we had not paid them for storage.  Our contract called for a down payment when the property was picked up with the balance due upon delivery and storage was included in these invoiced amounts.  Weve had the money orders ready to pay the balance since 9/2/12.  Failure to deliver the property is not because we owe them money the only way for them to collect the balance is for them to deliver our property.  They have lied to us over and over. 

We have had additional expenses because we have had to take off work to wait for a delivery that never happened and because we dont even have a refrigerator so we have to eat out almost every meal.  But this is so much more than inconvenience.  Like I said, they have all our belonging, including treasures that are valuable only to us but cannot be replaced and this experience has been emotionally draining.
