I rented a space from this salon for over a year. Salon owner allowed animals in the shop, and had allowed it to basically turn into a day care center for her favorite stylist.
Salon owner could not control the drama here. After many complaints about the atmosphere here, salon owner got very hostile and would not do anything about it. Come on, this is not Kinder Care, or Doggy World. Most stylists like a clean atmosphere.
Two stylists complained about all this, and they were both evicted. No notice, your stuff is backed and ready for pick up. You need your customer list too bad.
When 2 stylists complained about it, the owner called the stylist at home on a day she was to work and told her that she was not allowed in the shop. Owner packed stylists belonging and changed the locks before stylist could retreive her tools.
This salon has online booking, and would not allow stylist to retreive customer telephone numbers in order for stylist to call customers to let them know what had happened.
Why would you allow one stylist to continually add such drama to your shop? People know about Rip Off Report. Don't you realize that we can let people know what kind of business you run!!
What stylist would pay you booth rent, and trust you at your word, and then you get a hair (you know where) and decide you want to through them out of your shop.
Any stylist that is thinkiing of renting space from this place, BEWARE!
Owner has no idea of business. If you can't make your rent, your car is repossed, don't you think the better idea is to handle the problems you have to keep your income coming in?
DAH!!!
Thanks RIP OFF REPORT for allowing us to get the word out.
Why would you do this to a stylist after you take their booth rent? Is this the way you would run a business. Then you advertise that you need booth renters.
Don't these salon owners realize when you do this to a stylist that the word get around? Why would you advertise you need renters when you pull this stuff?
I guess it is true what they say! "I doesn't take much to amuse an idiot".

This salon is an established "neighborhood" salon in which the clients have been frequenting this place for over 9 years. The owner is a very well-known business man in the area and his daughter runs the shop. And mom is the receptionist for the busier days in the salon so the stylists don't have to leave their clients and answer phones or make appointments.
As a booth renter in ANY salon, you are able to come and go as you please. As with any booth rental establishment you are expected to respect the other booth renters and clean up after yourself and supply your own products and equipment to do your job.
In the case of the "ripoff report" this is strictly coming from a disgruntled employee. I also had the opportunity to work with this disgruntled employee in another location and know her background well. This person has been fired from or quit several booth rental jobs in the area and her reputation proceeds her. She was a negative entity from day one. Instigating drama and being disrespectful and openly vulgar amongst the clientele that came into the salon. There were many complaints regarding her behavior towards the employees and the clientele - thus reason being why she was fired.
To defend All The Rage Salon - In all the years of residing in this location - the owner has never had to change locks or pack up a stylist's items until now. Due to threats from the disgruntled employee upon notice of being terminated.
When I read this "ripoff" online - I called All The Rage to ask about the mention of animals in the salon because in my two years of working there I had never seen an animal in there. It was brought to my attention, that the disgruntled employee told a client "go ahead - bring your dog inside - we are a dog-friendly salon". So this disgruntled employee is actually admitting that she went against State Board Policy by allowing a client to have a dog inside the salon.
I would only like to ask that people "consider the source" when reading complaints from a former employee - because there are always other angles to a painted picture.

I know that sometimes people leave with harsh feelings from their jobs but I don't agree with going online and trashing the reputation of the business and it's employees. It shows a lack of class on the employee's part and treads on legal waters that can become ugly.
Without spreading hearsay, I would say that my observation concerning Vicky's comments are this: In every business there is a drama queen or king that believe's that everyone in the company is messed up and she/he knows it all. I'm sure everyone has dealt with this kind of person at work. I can tell you as a business owner, it is a very difficult and stressful challenge to be successful, especially when you have employees that are trying to undermine your efforts. If they know how to do it so well, then why don't they open their own shop?
Vicky is definitely one of these queens that knows it all and I would give no credibility to what she has said in this report. She is just continuing with the behavior that got her invited to leave All the Rage in the first place.
