I went to work for this airhead one week, and one day ago. I finally had to quit because I had grown tired of being told to shut up. I have been a mechanic for over thirteen years and never in my career have I been treated the way Mr. Hayden Cardwell treated me. If you go to work for this person, he will second guess every thing you do, as well as try to tell you how to do something he has no clue of doing. When I received my pay for the week I worked, he only felt obligated to pay the base salary and not the commission I actually earned. He still owes me about 500 dollars worth if work I was not paid for. He also has no respect for any tools that you own, and will pile just about anything on top of your box or work area. He has no mechanical knowledge but will never hesitate to try to tell you how to do something. Better yet, he makes sure to try and push unnecessary repairs on unsuspecting customers. I witnessed him sell a master cylinder to a jeep owner that wasn't needed, the only thing needed was a flush of the brake system. Another thing is, how can you own equipment and not know how to use it? Or charge someone a diagnostic fee and not be able to find something wrong with the customers vehicle? Mr. Cardwell, just to let you know, I am looking for an attorney to get the money you owe me, as well im going to make it a point to let people know just how shady your practices are.
