rip off , incompetant, & money hungry. i brought my 1996 olds ceira in for tranny work in 2001, they changed the fluid when i left the car drove funny so i brought it back & found that they were 2 quarts low, they filled it & i figured it's an honist mistake. well i brought my 1987 honda prelude in for a timing belt, water pump, injectors cleaned, front engine mount,tranny flush, to find out why the car was running rough.& to give the car a good look over because i had just bought it for my wife i paid $656.22 .
when i left i herd a noise under the hood i found the timeing belt was too tight & that the water pump had not been changed so i brought it back & told them that it was too tight & that the w/p had not been changed. the manager told me that they set the tention tighter then what is required to let the belt stretch, i told him that the manual says a certin tention so the belt dont break. he also said the water pump was changed so i showed him the dirt, grease, & corrosion on it & said it should not be like that 4 hours after it was installed, it even had the old sealant on it that was not disturbed. after that he said that they had fired the worker that day because he had been takeing new parts home with him they said that other people had complained about the same problem.
well they changed it & i also had them change the rear motor mount because the car was still running rough. after they fixed all that the car was still running rough he said that hondas always run like that & not to worrie about it. well i left & got about 5 miles down the road & the car was over heating so i brought it back & found that they did not relive the air (burp) from the system from being opened. they fixed it & i left.
about a week later the rear motor mount broke so i went back to have it changed, i also found out that they used an after market part when i told them i wanted a geniune honda part, they said that their supplier only has that type i told them that i priced one from the dealer & it was cheaper then what they paid for a generic part & they get a discount so the one at the dealer would be cheaper for them to get not to mention they bought the part for about $57.00 & charced me about $110.00. a 100% markup.
i told them that i agreeded to the price & that now they can get one from THE DEALER they said ok. well they used their old supplier again & got a after market part again, when the new mount was installed the car ran smoothe ( go figure, he says that hondas always run like that)well about 3 months later it was running rough again, i found out that the rear mount broke again. i brought it back again & talked to the shop owner again he said that he needed to wait for a lift to open to make sure it was broke i showed him that the engine moved about 1&1/2 inches but still he wanted to put it on the lift i had to wait about 2&1/2 hours for one to open, i asked the manager what was takeing too long he said thet it was not his problem i'd have to wait
well finaly 25 min.later they brought the car in & didn't even use a lift some tech who can hardly speak english looked at it & sais he cant see anything wrong, i asked him if he was high the motor was tring to jump out of the car, he took another look & said yea ok it is broke but not the rear one the front one ( i guess tring to get out of changing it) & i told him that that one is fine that it was the rear one & if the front one was broke they needed to fix that one too because it was still under warranty from them. he took another look & said yea your right it is the rear one.
so i talked to the owner & told him that i asked for a genuine honda mount, he said he will only order through his supplier, i asked if i ordered it from the dealer he can pay for it & pick it up ,he said yes he would so i ordered it from the dealer & called him that it will be in next thursday (11 days) he said ok let me know when it is there & he will pay & pick it up. it came in i tried to call him 3 times & he was never in. i called him today & he tried to say that he could not hear me on the phone & hung up. i called back & the manarger got the phone i asked for nieir the owner he said with a laugh "IS NIEIR HERE" then said phone for you. well about 2 min. later the recep. got on the phone & said that nieir was not there & she will leave him a message, in a real rude tone i said ok & hung up.
then i went to the store to see if he was & the recp. said he was not there. i told her to tell nieir that the part was in that he can get it & she said you must be & said my name i said yes & she said w/ a big smile he called her & told her to tell me that he will not pay for the mount or pick it up that i had to & bring it in so they can change the mount . i asked for the other store ph# because he is there alot that i wanted to talk to him, she laughed & said "i bet you do" i said again what is the # & she gave me the #. i called there & like always he was not there.
when i got home i checked the store out at the better buisness bureau. the bbb said that it had an unsat standing from noumrous complaints ( wish i knew that before) i want to warn every one in orange park & jacksonville fl. not to go there unless you want to through money away & get a big headache. they need to be shut down i even saw one of his old employees & he told me not to go there because there is a lot of crooked stuff going on over there.REMBER STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!
