Fax received: we are buying businesses in your industry (from USA GROUP)--Returned form, got call from Bill Busche (from Chicago) representing Alliance Acquisitions. Set appointment to come & discuss. Says he doesn't care if we sign up or not, he's already been paid for his time & expense. Need to pay $5000 for an independent evaluation and will only be accepted if we 'qualify' Next week we get accepted, Evaluation report comes from 'BUSINESS EVALUATION SYSTEMS', A KRISTEN G. AND GEORGE D ABRAHAM.

The report looks very professional giving many formulas for valuing businesses, and then valuing our business at exactly what we had asked, with much proding from Mr. Busche to make it high. When I don't hear anything for a while I call & get a rude person who switches me to a person who is to be my analyst, the call gets dropped. I get a call toward the end of my 1 year guarantee of a qualified buyer who will be contacting me. Later, I call them but they are not looking for anything in my area. Just before the contract is up, I get a glowing report of Alliance's success matching 180 million dollars with qualified buyers in 2005. When the contrat is up I respectfully ask for a refund as per the promises made and the contract.

I get a rude letter saying they have fulfilled their obligation, my business information will be removed from their system and don't call them again.

Also, it was disappointing that the Better Business Bureau of Atlanta/Marietta had no complaints or warnings about these crooks. I won't be relying on them anymore--or Dunn and Bradstreet either.

I recently received a letter from Burns, Speights, Grisham & abbott, P.C., 150 North Street, Canton, Ga 30114 that Alliance has ceased operations effective Sept. 21,2006. This law firm was to dissolve the corporation & wind up its affairs. They say there is a strong possibility of filing for bankruptcy protection. I wonder if this is a legal maneuver to get away from their obligations and start the scam anew under another name.

I hope all of these crooks are put away for many years.

Roger

I just found this site today. Randy Hicks left my office yesterday with a check for $3000 for an "Evaluation report".

He now "works" for Empire Business Brokers as a "National account manager'

Needless to say, as soon as I saw this thread I immediately went to my bank and stopped payment on the check.

Randy's new contact Numbers are:

Office: 761-681-3030

Noname AAA, Principal Acquisitions, TLMA Consulting and others are scam artists and con men

AUTHOR: Willard - (U.S.A.)

Noname,

You seem to admit that these companies are bad, in that their actions are worthless. They provide nothing of real value to any of their customers. Just because a customer is intentionaly mislead about the product they buy and falls for it does not mean it is their fault. Is it wrong to expect buisness to be honest, to be moral in their actions?

If I went to a car dealer and they sold me a bike would thay be ok? These guys are bad news and should go to jail or worse. They lie about what their product actually is and con you into believing it is what you want. They are con men plai and simple. Why is that hard for you to state, mabey you are one yourself noname.

Someone with experiance

AUTHOR: Noname - (U.S.A.)

I am not posting this because I agree with the actions of Acquisitions Companies. Nor do I agree with the actions of the people that are posting these complaints because they lack understanding to what it takes to sell a business.

Acquisitions companies provide you with what you pay for. A overpriced valuation, a promise to provide you a qualified person that will show interest in your business (a qualified buyer is defined as someone whom would be willing to buy a business - thats it. You don't even have to be a resident of the US to buy a business in the US)

I am simply posting this as a guide for the people here whom feel that they got ripped off when they signed up for something they didn't understand, over sold, or those of you whom are smart enough to do the research mentioned in this post.

Sales people sell. Their job requires closed deals in order for them to make money to support their families, cost of living, and trip costs. A car sales person makes promises all the time when selling a car.... so do acquisitions companies. Sort a promise from what is in a contact and you may never have to post another article on a site like this again.

1) When a company markets itself by sending out an illegal form of marketing (faxing, calls on the do not call list, even some forms of spam) DON'T TALK TO THEM! They already have a strike against them for using an illegal and questionable form of marketing to attract customers.

2) Whenever you plan on making a big decision involving your capital, retirement, or cash flow GET A PROFESSIONAL TO LOOK OVER THE CONTRACT! Any lawyer would have laughed at the contracts you signed. Believe it or not, what you signed is what you got. You asked for a buyers interest... and You had no idea what a qualified buyers interest was. Now you sit in front of a computer blaming everyone but yourself for the foolish decisioned that you made. FOR GOD SAKES, THESE SALES PEOPLE WOULD READ THE CONTRACT TO YOU!

3) USE LICENSED PROFESSIONS! Did you know that only licensed Brokers can list a business for sale. You would have known that if you did research before attempting to sell.

4) DO RESEARCH! Who writes a check for over 5k (some of you for even more) without learning anything about the company which you plan on dealing with??? If a company gave me a 1 year warranty on my computer and they haven't been in business for a year I would be concerned that they have no intention on honoring that warranty. Were all business owners here, how many businesses go out of business their first year? MOST OF THEM.

5) THE STATES ATTORNEYS OFFICE HAS SUBMITTED NUMEROUS POSTS ABOUT THESE KINDS OF BUSINESSES CALLING THEM QUESTIONABLE FOR THE PAST 3 YEARS!

Instead of blaming others for the loss of money, I suggest that you take this as a life's lesson and move on. No one really cares whom owns what companies anymore. You call these business owners con-artists? I call you ignorant for signing up for a service which you didn't understand.

TLMA Consulting is Principal Acquisitions Scam Fraud Theft

AUTHOR: Willard - (U.S.A.)

Alliance Acquisitions Associates changed names at least 3 times. It was previously Fidelity Acquisitions and GE Acquisitions.

Now 2 former Alliance Acquisitions Associates employees Carlos Keeling and Alex Marchovich are following in the footsteps of there former employer and Changing Principal Acquisitions name by closing down shop about a year after scaming hundreds of business into purchasing a business valuation.

Just in time to avoid the heat of all thoes customers trying to get their money refunded as per the year guarantee. What a surprise when they told you all they had to do was intoduce you to a buyer not sell your buisness.

Now Carlos and Alex will be doing the same thing again with their new company. TLMA consulting is Principal Acquisitions Scam, Fraud, Lie, Steal.

#7 UPDATE EX-employee responds

Scam, Fraud, Theft, AAA, Lyons Group, Premier Acquisitions, Legacy Acquisitions , Fidelity Acquisition, Principal Acquisitions, Designed to Sell

AUTHOR: Willard - (U.S.A.)

Principal Acquisitions is a direct copy of AAA. I know an ex AAA employee who worked for Principal Acquisitions and Principal was Founded by Carlos and Alex who both worked for AAA. They paperwork was copied verbatim. AAA was several other companies before it was AAA and all the other companies did the same thing but the legal entity had to be changed when the year was up and people wanted the guarantee to be honored. GE took off after a bunch of ex Norvergence employees were hired and proved to be great at looking the other way if the money was right. Norvergence did do one thing right it trained people how to do the reverse sell. You want what you can't have, "we have to approve you". Weather it's the review committe or the circuts available in the area it all turns out to be the same process.

These scammers tell people it's too good to be true and prove it is by not letting them have it(or so they think), they convince them they will be lucky if they are approved and the check is cashed. This is a scam that uses greed in reverse to steal money. People want what they can't have, that is why this thing works so well, it sounds like there is a bunch of idots out there lying down and giving their money up but there is a savy psychological trick being used on these people and it works really well. Why else would someone give a 10k check to someone they just met? All these companies selling buisness valuations are doing it.

Guess what, you can get a business valuation for $2000 any day from an accountant with the right credentials, you can probaly shop around for one and get it for $1000. That's what all these buisness owners are getting and AAA, Lyons Group, Premier Acquisitions, Legacy Acquisitions , Fidelity Acquisition, Principal Acquisitions, are all giving these buisness owners buisness valuations worth 1k-2k if they even get the valuation. Even if the buisness gets listed it's still a scam because any buisness owner could list their buisness for free on any number of sites, the very same sites these companies are using because it's free. And guess what if any of these companies even sell a buisness it's still a scam because that's just luck.

Find out the closing ratio and get proof. I guarantee it is less than one tenth of one percent. Don't be satisfied with speaking to one two or even three references these companies are all scams. List your buisness yourself on the same sites they use. Buy your own valuation from an accountant who does valuations and get rid of these middle men scam artists.

Premier Acquisitions, Alliance Acquisitions, Legacy Acquisitions...Norvergence connection. SECRET SERVICE

AUTHOR: Marcus - (U.S.A.)

You two make me sick! I hope that was your last post. I will rebut it and point out you are both scumbags.

JUST TO BE CLEAR...this is not a personal attack on Randy Hicks or Alliance Acquisitions or Legacy Acquisitions or Premier Acquisitions. You are all bottom feeders and my comments are put out there only to protect other people from getting scammed by you and your slick presentations. You know as well as anyone Hicks will never pay back money. Nor will Legacy or Premier or anyone. You all snort the money in cocaine. Your a bunch of scam artists looking for the next deal to steal. Didnt you use to work for a company called NORVERGENCE? For those of you interested, look up NORVERGENCE. Try 159 entries! You move from one money making scam to the next Bill Busche, David Silverman, and from what I hear most of the staff at either company. How can you defend your personal ethics after two failures in a row? Both of which screwed the customer and made sales and management rich. This other company, werent the principles convicted? Same will happen with all of you. I hope the secret service picks this up and sees where you all came from and what your history is. They can just look you up in their little computer and see the truth.

JUST TO BE CLEAR...Marcus has met Bill Busche. In fact Marcus has a videotape of a slick presentation Mr Busche did for a company called Fidelity Acquisitions Associates, which is another now broke company. I also have a voice tape presentation of Mr Busche selling the Alliance scam. I have a copy of the fax sent out from Alliance and from Legacy. They are the same. I have a contract from both. They are the same. Can you honestly say you're different? As to you Silverman, I have a taped presentation of yours. Sounds just like the old Alliance tape of one I have of you as well. So dont lie to us. I have the proof.

Anominity of the internet? Anyone who wants to know who I am call the United States Secret Service in Wichita, Kansas...agent Ron Emmitt. Rather than find out who I am, which you can, just talk to Agent Emmitt. He is aware of this company and all the others you say are so honest. Ask his opinion. By the way...ask him about the grand jury looking into both of you and your pal Hicks and all who blow smoke instead of being honest. Some of your peers came forward and made statements. Some have cooperated. And some are very hurt. Enough to leave the industry.

You talk about your guarantee. What the heck is that about? You guarantee a quality valuation? If the valuation is so important, why dont you do this...and this is advice to EVERY client who reads this and wants to make a decidion. Ask who does the valution, call them, and hire them DIRECTLY instead of through one of these companies. If they wont do that, call any of 1000 valuation companies and have the same thing done. For $500 instead of $10000. You do not need a valuation to sell your business. Or perhaps you do, but do it yourself instead of paying 10x what it costs!

People get turned down David? BULL CRAP! If they submit a check, they get accepted. You blast fax as a marketing tool. You dont care who responds. You just want a sucker to sell to.

References? Yea right! You could set up a phone line or three to ring into a cell phone with a listing in the yellow pages and get a reference. I know people in your industry who will PAY a friend to be a reference. I heard it talked about in a grand jury investigation!

I wont sleep until I save people the pain of dealing with you people. Your all scum bags. Your resume tells that. I dare you both to prove you did not work for Norvergence. Or in the case of Busche...Norvergece, Alliance, Fidelity, and another company called GE Acquisitions, of which the principal in in JAIL for what he did!

Putting me out of my misery'

AUTHOR: David - (U.S.A.)

This can go on all day. But time's too important, and so this will be my last post.

JUST TO BE CLEAR, we are all on the same team when it comes to getting our money that Randy owes us. Changes are very good that he owes me more than he owes any customer. We have the same chance of getting that money as you do. None.

JUST TO BE CLEAR Marcus has probably never met me or Busche, but felt is was moral to blast our names on this report. He'd seen us doing nothing wrong, but since we once worked for Randy (I met Randy once), well, we must BE just as guilty as Randy.

Of course, he does this through the anonymity of the Internet -- a cloak I chose not to use. I find it ironic, however, that our hidden and protected detractor is demanding we give personal name and contact information about our customers. Gee. I wonder why our customers don't want their info spread around while they move forward with their deal. It's called "confidentiality," Marcus, look it up. Anyone who wants a reference sheet can simply ask for one.

Randy's guarantee trick is illegal, in my opinion, because it goes directly against the stated purpose of the agreement. It's wrong and it's illegal, and I think he only did it as a stall tactic because he knew he was going down; It wouldn't survive in court, IMO

Legacy's guarantee is NOT the same as Alliances. First of all, we guarantee in writing the quality and usefullness of the report by reuiring it to be USPAP Compliant. Second, we underplay the grarantee because if there buyers; interest they will be introduced quickly, and if there is no interest the seller won't be approved in the first place. And yes, Marcus, people DO get turned down quite a bit.

This is not brain surgery. My attacker claims the evals are cheap. Don't believe either of us., ((REDACTED))

For those wonering why evals are important, check out the Appraisal foundation (org) to learn about the government authorized standard. Again, not difficult

Marcus, I sleep well. I help people do what they want to do, and support my family that way. But posting false reports about people YOU DON'T KNOW and about companies YOU DON'T KNOW cannot help people, it can only hurt people, including youself (spiritually). You need to take a step back. If you wish, call me on my cell phone (you must have it) and we can discuss. In the mean time, this is my last post.

legacy acquisitions, andy wang, randy hicks, lyons group

AUTHOR: Marcus - (U.S.A.)

I am still waiting for your answer how your different. Nobody has stepped up and provided 3 references and your statistics of how many businesses you sold. You are so offended that this has been posted, step up. I guarantee you wont see any references on here. You wont see anything positive. You will see negative.

Legacy has been in business since June 2006. Brand new company that is collecting millions of up front dollars. This company will not be able to refund your money at the year. 50% or more goes to the analyst and they can charge anything they want. They can even reduce your cost down to $2000! That is twice what the valuation costs. The other 50% goes to Bill Busche. Not the appt setters. They get paid by the analyst.

No matter what you pay, think about this...if 50% of your money goes to pay the analyst, one year from now when you ask for a refund, they now have to pay you money they have already paid out! Think about it. You write a check for $7000 to this company, they pay David Silverman $3500. Your business doesnt sell and they have to pay you back $7000 from their pocket. That is a total of $10500 for you! WONT HAPPEN.

Contract advice: IF YOUR CONTRACT SAYS THEY WILL INTRODUCE YOU TO A BUYER, INVESTOR, OR CAPITAL FUNDING SOURCE...YOU WILL BE INTRODUCE TO A FUNDING SOURCE...LIKE BANK OF AMERICA. That is what Alliance did, and that is what your Legacy contract says. BUYER BE SERIOUSLY BEWARE!

To John In Maine

AUTHOR: Ho - (U.S.A.)

are you kidding? First of all you need to be able to know the proper name of the company if you are going to make a FALSE statement, second you are comparing apples to oranges by trying to compare Alliance to any other company. I have a suggestion to all these people that are now posting on this BS Board, Go to work, stop living in the past, and move on. Alliance is gone, get over it, Randy is who knows where, and most of the people that are still out there, are trying to get through the dissaster that one greedy, crooked man caused. Most of the people that are posting are the same stupid, foolish people that started this they are in the same industry and they think if they bad mouth the competition they will be the only ones left! Also most of the people that read this are ex-employeesor competetors not clients. If you owned a business and paid money, Write it off,you realy did not loose anything. John in Maine, where you a victim? What happened to you? I bet Nothing, be a man, be honest and move on. To all the others that are on this stop throwing names, and trying to bash each other. about 1% of business owners even look here! There has already been enough damage done by one. As I stated before go to work, service your clients, and stop kicking a dead horse.

It's been over 18 monthsa since I've been in this little "niche" of c**cksuckers, but I am still enraged over the money owed to me, other ex-employees and clients. This is Absurd

AUTHOR: David - (U.S.A.)

Marcus, you obviously have your mind made up.

You are not a former or current employee of Legacy, nor are you a customer of Legacy (this is proven since the number you give for Legacy predates Legacy's inception). You've never been involved with Legacy in any way, have you? You know only one thing -- Bill and I once worked for a company that obviously did you (and Roger) wrong.

Well, Alliance did a lot of people wrong, Marcus. Alliance did me wrong. Alliance did Bill wrong.

But to blame all former employees of Alliance for Alliance's misdeeds is also wrong. To condemn all buyers' mandate firms -- the whole buyers' mandate industry -- is also wrong.

To make wild accusations with NO experience, NO negative testimonials, and NO COMPLAINTS is wrong.

Sir, you're misleading people based on your anger for a different company that no longer exists and has NOTHING TO DO WITH US. Please stop.

Come of Legacy Acquisitions and Bill Busche - Alliance Acquisitions Associates

AUTHOR: Marcus - (U.S.A.)

You say your different? How do you market to these potential clients? You dont have to answer. You blast fax which is illegal. Then what? You have an appointment setter call them and determine if they qualify. Yet, just like Alliance, everyone qualifies. Then an analyst goes and sees them. The pitch? Same thing...you need a valuation to sell your business. The valuation you sell them costs you nowhere near what you charge.

I've done the math. To be able to offer the so called guarantee that nobody at Alliance Acquisitions got, you would have to sell 4 businesses out of 10 just to pay it back. No broker on planet earth randomly seeking sellers through fax advertising can have that success. Come on employee of Legacy, how long have you been in business...and dont lie. I will post the filings. How long? How many listed businesses do you have? How many have CLOSED?

If you are a real company not bent on just the money you collect up front, I challenge you to post 3 references you have sold on this site. Just names of companies, and locations.

Otherwise, you are EXACTLY the same as your pal Hicks at Alliance Acquisitions Associates. And all you scum bag analysts who talk about not knowing. You know what happended at Alliance and you know you are doing the exact same thing now in presenting Bill Busche to the world. Give us a bank reference that shows you are holding enough money in accounts to give refunds. HOLDING the money. You said you are happy to provide them? Be a man or woman of your word! Do it right here. I will assume if you dont, you are a scum bag just like Hicks and Alliance.

Everyone who reads this, beware. Read the entire Alliance ripoff list. Then compare this company, how they found you, the presentation, the guarantees, EVERYTHING and make an intelligent decision. If you buy from this company you are stupid and there really should be a list of people like you who just drop their pants and take it in the poop hole! If you want to sell your business, interview professionals in the industry. Compare pricing. Compare methods of advertising. Never pay anything up front. Do not beleive you have to value your business. A serious buyer knows how to look at your tax returns and asset list. They dont care one bit about a valuation report that you paid 5x what it cost. BUYER BEWARE.

Contact those you have bilked out of 1000's-prove you're honest!!

AUTHOR: Roger - (U.S.A.)

Bill Busche I am sure knows the people he contacted under Alliance. He should contact them to do all he can to undo the injustice he was part of and help put Mr. Hicks, whom he praised when at my house, behind bars. Let's not let them off the hook so easily as to just plead ignorance and that they are the good guys. No one can work for someone as long as this went on and not realize what's going on. Often they don't blow the whistle because they are themselves prospering---or hoping to prosper.

Again, I say Mr. Busche and any others involved should use all due diligence to undo the wrongs committed which for whatever reason they were a part of.

Legacy post is a FAKE

AUTHOR: David - (U.S.A.)

Gentle reader,

The accusatory information against Legacy posted on this thread is false.

Legacy has nothing to do with Alliance except that Bill and I once worked there. We both quit for ethical concerns (Alliance still owes us both money), and Legacy was born a while thereafter.

In the interim, Bill fell ill and was hospitalized for a time. The phone number given in this report WAS Bill's number IN THE HOSPITAL. Think about that. No customer would have that number (go ahead -- call it).

For my part, I have a BA from Brandeis, an MBA from Penn State and a CAGS from Seton Hall. I am a Certified Machinery and Equipment Appraiser and Broker and a member of the NEBB Institute (look it up at NEBB's web site). I also have over 70 issued patents (look it up at the US Patent and Trademark web site) from my tenure as a Professional Inventor at Bell Labs.

I've never been to St. Louis to my recollection.

I have neither the time nor the inclination to repeat mistakes -- that's why I work for Bill Busche. At Legacy we give real, conservative estimates for business value, and all appraisals obtained through us are certified to be USPAP compliant, in writing. The result: completed transactions, which after all is everyone's intent. Our rates are competitive and fair.

The problem is that some of our other competitors are less-than-honest, and one in particular likes to post false ROR reports (they show up on Google searches). Readers are asked to perform due diligence on this fake, anonymous post, starting with the fake phone number.

#18 REBUTTAL Owner of company

NO CORRELATION!!

AUTHOR: S - (U.S.A.)

As an operating partner in Legacy Acquisitions, I am very disturbed with recent alegations as to being "one and the same" with Alliance. It is my understanding that many ex-employees of Alliance did not have any knowledge of the fraudulant activity that was happening with their clients. This held true with Bill Busche, who has in fact started his own company to service the clients in their best interests. In fact when past clients of Alliance have contacted Mr. Busche, he has offered Legacy's services to the client AT NO CHARGE. Does this sound like the actions of someone who would knowingly participate in the criminal business practices that Alliance partook in? Alliance and it's owners/operators have put a serious black mark on an industry where there is still an enormous need and demand. Besides the unfortunate and irrelevant tie that Legacy has with Alliance, comparing the two is like comparing apples to oranges. Legacy Acquisitions is always ready and willing to provide both trade and customer references to any potential client to aleviate their concerns.

#22 UPDATE EX-employee responds

Leave my name out of this!!!!

AUTHOR: Sponge - (U.S.A.)

It has been some time since I have checked this website, but I decided to look today and find my name on this site. I was an ex employee of Alliance Acquisitions as a Senior Account Manager. What you all may not realize about Alliance ex employees is that we all did not know all the details that you think we did. We did our job and we were also under the impression that this company was legit and that we all had a career ahead of us with Alliance. I honestly tried to help the clients. I did not have control over company policy or what the Owner did without employees knowing. So to call me a crook is unfair. It is unfair for you to put my name out on this site without knowing why you are putting my name on this site. If you want to email me personally, feel free to. I am tired of dealing with this whole issue.

I am married and have 2 children and do not need all of this drama. There is many times that I did speak up on behalf of the clients in reference to qualified buyers and policy. Mabye that is the reason I was let go, mabye it was not. I do not know. I sympathise with all of you who lost money and understand your position. But you also need to know that the employees were also victims. Many of us have children and went into this company feeling that we had a great opportunity for a great career with a growing company. We did not know any of the information we know now. So again, I ask, please leave my name out of this whole mess.

AUTHOR: Marcus - (U.S.A.)

Bill Busche started an exact same company to do the exact same thing. He is a scum bag of mass proportions as well. He is employing the same people like David Silverman, Dan Hall, and many if not all of the same analysts. What a joke these guys are! Randy Hicks feeds Bill Busche of Legacy Acquisitions leads for suckers who did this once and might do it again. Phone for BillyBis8479716310 or6306460263.
