Rick Damico, Mike Moran & Kathryn Oliver just to name a few from Alliance Acquisitions that played a part in ripping off our Company in 2006. We were told that they would list our company,do a business profile and find a buyer in 1 year or our money would be refunded. They are no where to be found, no phones, gone from physical address and our money is also gone.
We thought that we had checked the Company out, at that time they really had themselves covered. Now all kinds of rip-off reports are coming out.
We would love to see them pay for this. Any help anyone can give would be appreciated.

It's funny you point out the honest players in this game but why won't you point out the con men, the scam artists, the decievers, the manipulators. Are you one of them? Why don't you attack thoes who are doing the dirty deed and talking advantage of the elderly, sick or finacially troubled who just need to sell their business because of some difficult situation in their life. The majority of the people who respond to a fax are desperate because they are in some sort of bind. Who else would respond to a fax!!! You and all your ilk take advantage of the misfortune of others, you are carion feeders, vultures that prey on the detritus of the human condition. If you are legitimate stand up for what is right and sound the alarm against thoes you know are corrupt and only selling a valuation instead of selling a buisness. Your actions will prove who you are. I believe they already have.

so tell me why does Marcass not respond? I ment Clark... now we have this knucklehead from WV, yeah ok, more like TN, any way why no mention of Designed to Sell?, oh by the way, have you ever seen a $1000.00 valuation (limited) to compare to a full scope certifed valuation, also most CPA firms are not USPAP certified. Idiot Why is it that large Brokerage companies like sunbelt, VR & Empire charge for valuations and sell 2 or 3 businesses a year and no one complains, or better yet they charge 10-12% exclusive right to sell and a listing fee up front, no one complains. It is how companies are bought and sold, and decisions are made. Are there some people that do bad things, yes that is human nature and greed, but not everbody is like that and you people are fools to think that all are... Look at this site, every company large and small is on here, most of it is BS or you only hear on side of the story. Get over and go on with your lives. So where is your advocate Marcass now?

Principal Acquisitions is a direct copy of AAA. I know an ex AAA employee who worked for Principal Acquisitions and Principal was Founded by Carlos and Alex who both worked for AAA. They paperwork was copied verbatim. AAA was several other companies before it was AAA and all the other companies did the same thing but the legal entity had to be changed when the year was up and people wanted the guarantee to be honored. GE took off after a bunch of ex Norvergence employees were hired and proved to be great at looking the other way if the money was right. Norvergence did do one thing right it trained people how to do the reverse sell. You want what you can't have, "we have to approve you". Weather it's the review committe or the circuts available in the area it all turns out to be the same process.
These scammers tell people it's too good to be true and prove it is by not letting them have it(or so they think), they convince them they will be lucky if they are approved and the check is cashed. This is a scam that uses greed in reverse to steal money. People want what they can't have, that is why this thing works so well, it sounds like there is a bunch of idots out there lying down and giving their money up but there is a savy psychological trick being used on these people and it works really well. Why else would someone give a 10k check to someone they just met? All these companies selling buisness valuations are doing it.
Guess what, you can get a buisness valuation for $2000 any day from an accountant with the right credentials, you can probaly shop around for one and get it for $1000. That's what all these buisness owners are getting and AAA, Lyons Group, Premier Acquisitions, Legacy Acquisitions , Fidelity Acquisition, Principal Acquisitions, are all giving these buisness owners buisness valuations worth 1k-2k if they even get the valuation. Even if the buisness gets listed it's still a scam because any buisness owner could list their buisness for free on any number of sites, the very same sites these companies are using because it's free. And guess what if any of these companies even sell a buisness it's still a scam because that's just luck.
Find out the closing ratio and get proof. I guarantee it is less than one tenth of one percent. Don't be satisfied with speaking to one two or even three references these companies are all scams. List your buisness yourself on the same sites they use. Buy your own valuation from an accountant who does valuations and get rid of these middle men scam artists.

So Marcass, AKA Clark, you still will not admit who you are, or your company, or the fact that you signed with Alliance, they offered to refund your money, you refused and started to make threats, you have a very shady past yourself, almost as bad as the famous Mr. Hicks, by the way you won't find info with him at Empire due to the fact he is working under an assumed name, and also just as a recruiter, and get's paid a percentage, principal is done, go figure, look out for a new name from them, they have no intentions of selling, and design to sell in ga has hired most of legacy's trash, your info is lame and you have no clue what is going on. Just please tell us who you are, and what your affiliation was with Alliance, if you are not Clark, that only leaves a couple of other people that love to lie and have made a living doing it. Be a man, put up or shut up!

Two updates though...it appears this geek is right. Alliance has nothing to do with Empire Business Brokers. I called every number I could find trying to locate Hicks and with no success. The only working number is his cell phone which I gave above. Second, this geek is right again. It is Principal Acquisitions that is the spinoff. Thanks for your help.

I recall a February 2006 staff meeting where an employee (once again, only this time in 'public') "called out" Hicks in regards to doing the "right" thing, ignoring increasingly more and more irate suckers' phone calls, offering a refund when he knew damn well he wasn't going to give one, etc, etc. BTW, this employee was fired the VERY next day after the meeting...coincidence? I think NOT...!
The comments about changing the wayward ways of AAA to meet ethical standards were met by Hicks with laughter and some ridiculous statement about how Great Western has been doing the exact same thing for years, etc., etc. no one's been after them in all those years...blah, blah, blah.
He is so high on coke, meth or whatever his drug of choice is, that Hicks really, really doesn't think he has-- or is doing anything WRONG...he just doesn't get it, he just doesn't see it...
I can't wait for Hicks to actually see the light...from a teeny, tiny, little prison cell window while bent over for Bubba!!!

Thanks Ex. It may seem I have some kind of vendetta. I really don't. I guess one could say this is my community service to the world that still does not know about Randy Hicks and friends. I too lost lots of money. I know I won't get it and that is not what I care about. I can live without it. What irks me is the people who were just outright scammed by Alliance. Everyone who worked there is an ex employee. I feel for you losing your jobs and being left in the lurch. I really do empathize with that.
What irritates me is that this is still going on with Hicks and other companies mentioned. People still go out and sell this service and valuation. They make their 40% of what they charge, and turn a blind eye to what they are doing. Look inside and be honest. If you still sell this for any of the competition, you are a theif. You cannot justify it any other way. You can make a living doing something honest. Yes, it wont make the same money, but you wont be scamming people!
On thing...Dick mentioned there are others in this industry and that is true. One is Great Western. There is a difference though...they do not guarantee money back as did Alliance, Premier, Legacy, and Fidelity. A friend of all these people is in jail now for a former company Hicks used to work for. GE Capital Acq. I dont think he is in jail for this particular scam, but he is in jail.
This is where much of this started with the secret service. Anthony Smoker. Anthony used to work with both Randy Hicks, Andy Wang, and perhaps Bill Busche. I am not sure on the last one. Each of these three went on to continue this scam with new companies, that are all now out of business except Bill Busche's company, Legacy Acquisitions. Hold tight though, his year for the guarantee is coming up in June or July from what I understand. That will be interesting to see what comes at that point. Probably a new company name, with the same people selling the same scam. Tell my I am wrong.

If you'll go back and read some of the original posts, you will all see that at least one honest, ex-employee warned you ALL about what was coming down the pike with AAA and Randy/Marvin Hicks.
No one wanted to listen...
The ONLY people defending AAA are those who are still making money on a similar scam in CA or elsewhere.

I am not the infanous Randy or his lovely (uhhh) Bride. I happen to be an honest ex-employee who got screwed just as bad as many opf the business owners when Mr. Hicks decided to become greedy and not provide the services he promised.

My vendetta is not to help the people who were deceived. Too late for that. I did give out the phone number so they could call him and have some catharsis. Many have started other companies. Some charge up front fees, others I have tried as hard as I can to get them to even list my company and the answer is no. One I even got them to place an ad to sell my business without a contract and they forward buyers to me because they feel bad about what happened.

How many government investigations conclude that quickly? Lets see...MCI took 4 years. Enron, it took 3 years after they started an investigation to file charges.
