Alliance One Receivables Inc fraudlent attempt to collect on closed account / paid in ful 10/2006 Ripoff Gig Harbor Washington

Been getting rude, abrupt calls demanding payment for an account paid in full and closed 10/2006. The original debt ($759.80) was from Western Business College/Everest College in Portland, OR.

Paid $365.00, then debt was sold to RJM/Sunrise and had to fight with them to acknowledge payment on account to Alliance One. Finally thought all was paid until this month when Alliance One has been hassling me again on a closed account!

One thing that was strange was the ACH debit notifications came from a Canadian business, TCH International in Toronto,Ontario,Canada. So who knows, the money may be in a Canadian account and not credited in USA??

Although, I sent them confirmation by FAX copies of bank statements showing the amount, date and company.

Have other people in Oregon had any problems like these? I requested a consumer complaint form from Oregon Department of Justice to start a complaint process with the Attorney General's office here in Oregon, I don't know where else to find help with these idiots!

Fortunately, after checking my free credit reports at least RJM/Sunrise Collections record the debt as PAID IN FULL! Now, to fight with Alliance One...again!
