Alliant Southside, LLC. hired our company back in 2011 to perform several apartment-remodeling, and construction services for them for their buildings in the south side of Chicago, and never paid a large number of jobs that we did for them that would clear numerous City Code Violations.
Alliant owns and self manages a portfolio of buildings that that are partially owned by Fannie Mae and other large banks. Their buildings have hundreds of City Code Violations that include mold in units (7917-27 S. Drexel), bad roofs (7901-11 S. Dobson), bed bug infestation (8253-59 S. Ingleside and 7801-11 S. Yates), flea infestation (7801-11 S. Yates), Dangerous porch systems (7801-11 S. Yates, 9300 S. Bishop, 6724-34 S. Chappel, 8001-11 S. Ellis, 7110-20 S. Ridgeland, 7917-27 S. Ridgeland), Roach infestation (7901-11 S. Dobson).
Cristie George, Senior Vice-President of Alliant Real Estate Investments, LLC and an officer for Alliant Southside, LLC. has goten into the bad habit of hiring multiple contractors to help her fix all defects in her buildings and she NEVER pays these contractors, it looks like she found the way to do it over and over again because there are 12 contractors that I know of that are victims of this evil person and dishonest companies.
Not only are they DEADBEATS, but also SLUMLORDS, Check this out: They NEVER INFORM THEIR NEW TENANTS THAT THEIR BUILDINGS THEY ARE ABOUT TO MOVE-IN HAVE MULTIPLE CITY CODE VIOLATIONS.
And this gets better... They DO NOT provide their tenant a copy of the Residential Landlord-Tenant Ordinance Summary. This is HUGE in Chicago. THIS IS HUGE!!!!
I strongly recommend that anyone thinking about doing business with Alliant Southside, LLC. to think it twice. Regardless of how juicy the contract might look. DO NOT RISK YOUR MONEY. they will ruin you as they ruined us with well over $150k.
Sean Horwitz, the amin owner of all Alliant Companies will ignore all collection attempt calls. We even tried to reach Sidney Kohl (Chairman, and founder of Kohl's stores) and neither of them would respod to calls or emails.

My company did several jobs for Alliant Southside, LLC at 6724 S. Chappel, 7901 S. Dobson, 7917 S. Drexel. We got tired of submitting our invoices for payment as every time we would call their leadership, they asked to send copied of all invoices. We did it dozens of times, and they never paid us. They are good at not paying their bills.
I have clear proof that they owe my company money. If there is anyone genuinely interested in seeing such proof, please contact me.
I also know of many other contractors that were ripped off by Christie George/Alliant.

It saddens me that you have taken this path knowing your accusations are completely false. Alliant Southside had consistently paid my organization in full for all work completed in a timely workman like manner. I can only hope that you have turned over a new leaf and are now operating on the straight and narrow, no longer defrauding your employers for your own gain.
