Will never purchase travel insurance again from this company. It pops up automatically when scheduling a flight with American Airlines which should have been a HUGE red flag. Our flight out of Jackson was cancelled due to severe weather on Christmas day. The soonest the airlines could get us out was 6 days later unless we drove 8 hours to Dallas.

Allianz refused to pay the hotel and fuel expenses of traveling to another city for our flight. They only allowed $150.00 for a "one day trip interruption." Definitely NOT worth the price of the insurance. Also cannot stand the patronizing canned speeches their representatives give when you finally get someone to answer the phone. Definitely will not be spending one dime for their product again and STRONGLY advise others to look elsewhere if you really want to protect your travel investment.

Dear Donna,

As per the terms and conditions of your policy, we are reimbursing you for the one day travel delay of $150.  We and our partners want our customers to make an informed decision, which is why we offer a 10-day free look.  This allows you to review the policy in detail and determine if the provisions are sufficient and if they are not, you can cancel it for a full refund.

I am sorry if the policy did not meet your expectations, but we have honored our commitment.

Regards,

Sarah, HelpTeam

They didn't reimburse you?

If they didn't reimburse you then what was the $150 for?

What were you total out of pocket expenses and how much exactly do you think you should receive?
