Hello Rip-Off Report Bloggers,

I wanted to let all the Veterans, like myself, out there know how crooked this security company has been. Since I started my supervisors have been back-stabbing liars. My supervisors try to blackmail the officers here by telling they can either mandatory "hold over" for more hours or recieve a write-up. A few of my fellow peers have been forced to work 7 days straight...one I know specifically worked 9 consecutive days. My site manager hires and fires like theres no tommorow with little judgement on picking the right candidate for the job.

At my post I rarely recieve a break and it is only for 10 minutes! I recieve (if Im lucky) two breaks per shift. 20 minutes for 8 hours! There have been several occassions where I am not able to use the restroom because there is no relief officer. I remember last year having to urinate into a bottle of gatorade. [continued below]....
..... It is sad that as guards they treat us as if we are scum. Even the most humane needs are not met.

The conditions of the post are unhealthy and disgusting. Myself and three other officers have gotten skin viruses from the sub-standard conditions. The worst part is that they give us the equivalent of county health benefits (which I cannot afford), they have never given any of us a raise or promotion. It is sad when I you do throughout the day is dread working for an employer that cares nothing for you.

We have supervisors getting into fights, gossip has gone rampant, and the moral of the officers has become non-existent. Now I'm being forced to do patrols when I have a previous military injury. After 2 1/2 years of working my ass off I can say that there has never really been a point. Oh yeah...I remember what they did for me...after working 12 hour days 6 days a week on graveyard for 1 1/2 years, they took my 1 dollar differential away. So there you have it, no promotions, no raises, lousy benefits, horrible supervisors, careless managers, and god-aweful working conditions (biological and social).

The day I finally leave this hell on earth, the sky will fall and light will shine once more. Until then I said, "No Standards for those who hold no work ethic".

Amen to what your saying, this is a horrible company to work for there as low as Wal-Mart when it comes to the way they treat there people. I've been with them for nine months now and at my site alone we have had nine people quit, our site manager is a wright you up for nothing idiot. Allied Barton Security Services joins an ever increasing cess pool of lousy employers how are "At will work employers" this means they do what ever they want to you weather its right or wrong, Allied Barton wrights you up for such things as being sick or having a medical problem that cause you to layoff even when you call in or notify them a day before they will still write you up, I'm told by Allied Barton's management they don't accept there people being sick or hurt and in need of medical attention, example here, Ive been with them for nine months missed no days and was late only once (two minutes) traffic problems yet when I had to have some oral surgery done and notified my site manager the day before and called the following day to remind him two weeks later I got a written warning for laying off sick, B.S. I told him and I didn't sign the write up, instead I took it down to our main office where I was introduced to your district manager and presented the write up to him along with the other write ups this site manager was doing, expecting the district manager to be upset over what the site manager was doing instead I found dealing with some former military bully who talked right over me like a steam roller,

he keep changing the subject and was trying to make it look like I was in the wrong asking me question about patrols i did three to four weeks earlier where he thought he had found some descriptences between my S.O. report and the wand check. When I insested he stay on course with this problem he said Allied Barton doesn't allow its employees to call off sick, even in an emergency its still considered a changeable offense and three of these write ups in a three month quarter could result in you being terminated (Any good work place Attorney's out there looking for a good and simple lawsuit, now,s your chance). This bone head was as stupid as the site manager. Anybody else have similar or other experiences and problems working for these idiots. I cant believe they haven't been sued in a large class action lawsuit since its not uncommon for them to have us take home courses and do them on our time and Allied Barton wont pay us for the time we work on these courses, that's a major break of the U.S. labor laws, plus we are always getting our lunches and breaks disrupted which is another big time federal labor law violation. 

I've seen with my own eye's there managment discriminate against different races and women.  Its hard for me to understand in this day and age how these companies still get away with harassing there people into quitting or discriminating against races and women, where are all the hungry work place lawyers at.

no  disrespect but how is this guy a crybaby because  hes stating  how he was treated  or  how he feels  about the company ??? i think  you should read the other  reports  about this  company   the stuff hes saying  is  no do  different  then what the other people   saying  seriously this company has a  horrible  reputation

I know ho filed this report because i work with the guy and have for the past two years. He is a whiner and a crybaby and he has no beef with the company since he has only worked for them since april. 

This report was written by a guy who was caught sleeping on the job, using chewing tobacco and putting the used chew in a drwaer where other people ahd to reach in. He shouold have been fired! The only disgusting post was the one he made.  I have never hear of anyone getting askin disease and I work the same posts he does and more because he is too lazy to do patrol work. 

oh yeah his "military injury" I dont think it was at least he doesnt get disability or VA benefits that i know of. He just uses it as an excuse to get out of doing work the rest of us have to do. 

No one is treated like scum the manager here is a pretty good guy and has worked really hard to make this a better palce for everyone to work.  as for breaks yeah i would like lonfger breaks to but no one is twisting his arm to stay here. If he doesnt like it he should leave and go somewhere else. What, oh he cant find another job paying as much? Then maybe he should keep quiet and try to make it a better palce instead of complaining about stuff that isnt true.

Ps I cant afford to live in Palos verdes but I can afford to pay for my health benefits which are better than most companys is this business give. Alo the manager hires lots of vets andis avet himself  So shut up or quit
