this is the beginning of the end for this guy, like jack nicholson said in the movie he messed with the wrong marine.

i answered an ad on craigslist for a concrete slab, everything seem to be normal as he gave me the 1st partial payment per our agreement. i was not at the job at the time so he gives it to the guy in charge. i get the check and it is half of what i asked for, 1st red flag. not that big a problem though as i asked him for the remainder and a couple of days later he gives me the 2nd check for (1.000.00). a week goes by and the day before we pour the concrete he looks over the job and all looks good and he gives the ok to pour the concrete. we do, and it was on a saturday, after lunch time he assures me he is returning with another draw. that was the last i seen from him.

monday morning early i get a call from him that the inspector had showed at the job and failed the project, i was curious because 1. there are no post inspection on concrete and 2. the forms were still up. how could an inspector look at it. he begans yelling at me and tells me i screwed up the job, and he is calling the police. i asked him to meet me at the job and show me the inspection report from the inspector. he never showed and he wouldnt take our calls.

so i go home to start the process of a lien and stop at the bank to transfer funds from that 1000.00 he gave me. well dont you know the check was returned to me NSF. so i call him and left a message (remember he isnt taking my calls anymore) i get home and email him about the check. finally he calls me and says " thanks for admitting you stole my checks i am gonna put that in the police report" and i hear click. he hangs up. i called him back and said if at anytime you want to talk face to face man to man lets do.

so a couple of days go by and dont you know he files a false police report, stating i burglarized his truck and stole the checks he passed to me.
i get a call from the detective asking me to come in.

i have been in full cooperation with the authorities, the detective even tells me marc wont return his calls. dont worry folks the end is near for this guy.
he has filed a false police report, falsified govt documents and so on.

in the interim i called his bank which isnt a real bank (ameritrade) and verified funds and redopisted the check and have gotten my 1000.00. i also reported this to the detective and he was in awe that he would report stolen checks and not put a stop payment on the check. i am telling you the end is very near for this guy. if anyone has questions or info or has been burned get with the folks here lets all ban together and get him out of business.
