Ok....I have read alot of these reports from others..I just had to add my two cents of what I know...Yes, I too owe a company money and unfortunatly cant pay it.....the balance less than 100bucks if maybe a few bucks over. Okay let me tell ya. They have been calling me too often, way too often. Threatening legal action, telling me I will have to pay court costs, crap like that.
I have done collections for over 15 years, never in my entire life have I ever seen a company get away with so much. Next time they call, all I can say is I am taping them and making them aware that they are being recorded - lets see how they like it??.Bet they hang up after you read this below.

First of all, they cant threaten to sue you and dont do it.......BIG NO NO.....then tell someone as a third party informatioin on an account.......BIG NONO TOO. ... And these ruthless collectors definitly do not know what the Fair Debt Collection Act is all about. What they are pulling is harrassment. We can, people, SUE THESE UNLAWFUL BILL COLLECTORS BACK. WE JUST NEED THE PROOF and of course the money to do it. I dont even think they can sue for under $500 in this state due to balance parameters depending on wherever you live (check your state balance parameters).

Then I told them I would send them $10 a month, well guess what.....they tell me they wont accept that payment........PER MY ATTORNEY, THAT IS A REAL BIG NO NO. They cannot deny anything you send them. If they do.........you got the bill paid off...(if you can afford to call an attorney and file suit)....you just need to pursue it. Also, as far as the postdated checks go.......I thought it was illegal to accept postdated checks?? Unfortunatly like all of you, I too dont have the money to pursue them and they pry know that and that is how they are getting away with it all.

We really need an attorney to pull this off pro bono and end up making these jokers pay all our bills off and put them out of jobs. If you want an idea....on how to avoid them.......answer the phone, tell them you arent there, take a message and they wont call back all day.......at least they are not suppose to call you once they id themselves the rest of the day. However, you are dealing with them.......so who knows. This company is every bit of the definition of Harrassment it could be. I just wish someone would do something about this company. Definitly not following Fair Debt Collection Act at all.
