Allied-Waste Republic Services Allied Waste Beware of this company Nashville, Tennessee

Avoid this company! Do not do business with them. Allied Waste purchased Advanced Waste Disposal from whom we had a construction dumpster and for which we paid for service in advance. AW bookkeeping is not very good and they had problems with the transition of the old customers but we finally got it sorted out and they agreed to honor the old companies agreement as to price ($310) and prepayment in the fall of 2011 so we agreed to continue using their service. We had several more dumpster swaps until early May 2012 when we no longer needed the dumpster. That dumpster and disposal fee had been paid at the end of March 2012. A month or so later they sent a bill which, of course, we refused to pay since we had already prepaid for this dumpster. I know that everybody else in the world, except us, pays when the dumpster is picked up but that was our deal with the previous company and AW accepted this arrangement. We are now being harassed by a collection agency. Do yourself a favor and avoid Allied Waste... these are not nice people.
