They started about 3 weeks late, due to weather delays. The job started okay, but during the tear off they made an incredible mess, scratching my new windows and leaving thousands of nails all over the ground - which he promised would not happen.
the last day, before the gutters were done I was asked for a check - by his son - Charles was never on the job except to build and overhand - his son ran everything with a group of very young guys. I gave them the check and he promised the gutter man would be there on Monday.
2 days later, we had a heavy rain and the leaks started all over. I contacted them by email. over the next 4 months they promised to fix it, eventually telling me that if their final fix doesnt work they will tear it off and start over.
They had to rebuild the overhang because they built it too small. they had to take off the ridge because they did not cut the vent. the more they tried to fix it the worse the roof looks. after their last fix which did not last one day, they stopped answering my calls. eventually they hired a lawyer. They refused to give me their insurance information, refused to replace the roof or make good on their 15 year labor guarantee.
the Manufacturer, Triad Metals told me that the entire roof had to come off. to this day they still refuse to do anything. I did get some money from their insurance company to fix the skylights they damaged and the glass they scratched.
They have lied to me so many times - in writing. I wouldn't trust them to take out my trash.

So many untruths, where should I start?

At some point after hours on my roof, the father (who is not the owner, the 19 year old son is!) he siad that if this fix doesnt work, then all they can think to do is a complete tearoff. They had to order some other parts and screws (for the umpteenth time) and they came about 3 weeks later, it took two days to put in the saddle screws. it rained that sunday night and leaked of course. It took almost two or three weeks to get them to answer the phone. ALl of a sudden that "tear off and replace" had never been said. They never came again after that. If you want to see what a "wonderful"job they did, email me, come look at what they did to my home. I will be happy to share with anyone, the details of what they did.
ABC news came and interviewed me and a number of other unhappy customers of theirs, but ALLMETAL refused to talk to them so they never aired it.
Save yourself the headache and the money. I was defrauded, and I am stuck with their mess. Call Triad and ask them yourself, what happens if the roof panels don't go into the gutter far enough. Cappialry action and leaking. That is caused by inexperience. More than A dozen visits here and they never figured it out, even though they had to cut the metal at the top after the fact for the ridge vent. Figure that one out.

When there are issues we get to the problem as quickly as we can. We truely try to resolve the matter the quickest and as best as we can. We do not like to bash any customer, out of the hundreds of homes we have installed there may be approx 6 customers who have had certain issues that according to them, they feel were not resolved to their standards.
Being a ROOFING COMPANY when Rain, Snow, Ice...110 degree or 20 degree weather shows up...we may get behind..we are sorry for this but there is not much we can do about mother nature.
What we will say is that when the customer who published this "REPORT" initially called we were there right away to address the issue and we continued to return and try to resolve the matter...The skylight leak was fixed immediately, but the customer stated that there was a stain left from it...which we don't know if the entire stain was from that leak or not since his skylight was leaking BEFORE we installed the metal roof.
Yes, during a tear-off of course it can get messy....but we clean up extensively and have NEVER had someone say we have left THOUSANDS of nails on the ground..actually we have had customers state on our completion form how happy they were with the job staying clean throughout the entire job, we have a magnet that they go around with many times to pickup nails/screw that may be missed by hand. Also, we don't know if we scratched the window or not during tearoff, but our insurance company took care of it.
The customer who filed this "REPORT" had agreed to let us come back and do what we think may have resolved the problem, 3 days before we were scheduled to come back he decided to change his mind and requested that the entire roof be replaced, he was never told we would replace the entire roof, there was nothing wrong with the metal to have to replace it, there was just a leak issue that we were trying to trace down, which the leak was going out the eave NOT into the home. Eventually this situation did result in our insurance company and attorney having to get involved, In which the insurance adjuster said there was absolutely nothing wrong to the point where this entire roof would need to be replaced, in his opinion the roof looked like it was in perfect condition. ALSO, TRIAD CORRUGATED METAL NEVER stated that this roof needed to be completely replaced NOR did they state that it wasn't installed properly...and anyone can call them and ask about it.
As far as our "VERY YOUNG CREW" as he stated, we can give you MANY, MANY references that will tell you they have never seen a crew work so long and hard and with perfect manners, and workmanship....And if 19 yrs old to approx 25 yrs old is too "young" to him...well so be it...They know their job.
Please, if you have any questions about this "Report" matter please contact us.
We will gladly give you a lengthy customer reference list of very satisfied customers, we take pride in our work, our crew gets to the job and works continuously to complete the job, we keep our job sites CLEAN and we truely strive to keep our customers happy.
Thank you.
