After Alltel contract was up after 2 years I decided to purchase a prepaid phone and ported my number out.
From Aug 2 - Aug 8, 08 I had Alltel phone service following the end of contract.

I expected the bill to reflect a few extra days.
They charged me the 61 dollars for another month.
When I called they said it would have been more if they charged me for the 200 minutes I used during those days.
I am so glad to be rid of this contract and Alltel.

Your problem not Alltel's

AUTHOR: Bikebryan - (U.S.A.)

You should have paid attention to the terms and conditions. They state that if you disconnect you are not paid back for them time between the disconnection and the end of the billing cycle. In other words, the bill does NOT prorate on a disconnect.

Just because you didn't read your terms and conditions does not mean Alltel did anything wrong.
