 I ordered Alphonso Mangoes from this store and paid over $10/mango. The mangos arrived and when they were cut open I discovered they were rotten. I took photographs and contacted the seller and sent the photos and requested a refund. He first claimed that the problem was because they had been irradiated and he offered to send me a replacement set if I would pay shipping again. I declined and asked for my money back, stating that I knew the problem was not due to irradiation since I worked in the food industry. I offered to send pictures of all the fruit which he declined and said I needed to ship the rotten fruit back and he would send me a shipping label.

The label never arrived and I sent a reminder. He then accused me of not acknowledging his email (which was untrue since I had the sent email , sucks for him that emails leave a trail) and then wanted a video of each fruit showing the tiny label one each fruit. Really?  When you wash fruit the label is taken off and tossed, not preserved like some archelogical find.  I send him a note back saying it was absurd to ask for that and all I wanted was a refund. I had already offered him photos that he had declined then I had agreed to send the fuit bacl, now videos? 

Needless to say the issue is now with Paypal. We have an Indian vendor with a mindset that everyone is out there to rip him off, instead of simply acknowledging the only person ripping him off was the supplier of mangos.

Buyer beware in dealing with this vendor.  I printed out his refund policy and there is no mention of shipping fruit back ,..,much less sending videos.

Will update when Paypal deals with the problem since I am sure that it is not going to be resolved

1. Please POST the pictures of all 6 Rotten Alphonso Mangos on Rip Off Report.

2. You e-mailed me only 3 Pictures and I agreed to replace you 3 Mangos.

3. If you POST pictures of six rotten Alphonso Mangos on this Rip Off Report, I will 100% refund your money for Mangos and also the shipping.

4. If you will NOT post photographs of 6 Rotten Mangos, America will understand that you are trying to rip me off.

This is not the forum for resolving disputes. I have already provided you with a photo that I took. If YOU want to post the photograph and refute they were bad, feel free to do so.

I offered to provide you with photos of ALL the mangos (see my email of May 6 10:31 am) which you DECLINED (your response of May 6th 10:34 am)

To come back 4 days later and ask for photos of all 6 now is absurd. People don't keep rotten fruit around, I certainly don't.

I already stated the I threw away the first two giving YOU the benefit of the doubt, and it wasn't AFTER the other 4 were also bad that I even decided to ask for a refund. If the next 4 had been fine you'd have never heard from me.

If you had sent the shipping label as you promised(your response of May 6th 10:34 am) you would have received all the rotten fruit as you requested. It was because I knew the first two had been thrown away I stated in my email of (My response of May 6th 11:47 am) that I wasn't sure if they were all still there. Regardless I awaited your shipping label because I was going to send you at least the 4 that I knew were still there for sure.

Incidentally, nowhere in your earlier communications did you offer a refund, even a partial refund. You first insisted on getting the fruit back. Now you are insisting on getting photographs of all 6 which you previously declined, and stating as a fact that I consumed the rotten fruit and engaged in trying to cheat you.

Your continued threats of litigation are equally absurd, nobody is defaming you, or accusing you of being dishonest, if anything, you are accusing me of being dishonest.  You are merely highlighting how difficult it is to obtain a reasonable resolution, which was the point of my initial posting.

If you are very honest Indian Man, POST pictures of 6 Rotten Mangos on this RIPOFF report so people can believe you. 

Where are the pictures of 6 Rotten Mangos in one photograph? If you cannot provide within 6 hours, please provide it now. I replace Mangos to any and all the customers. I have offered you double the refund. I have also offered you full refund on shipping. 

SHOW ME THE PHOTOGRAPHS. 

We both know that you ate our Mangos so you do not have pictures of 6 rotten Mangos. Do you think Americans are dumb, they will NOT understand you and your Indian tactics? 

If you want the refund you have to provide all the pictures of all the six mangos. You emailed me three pictures and I agreed to replace you three Mangos.

99% of my customers for Indian Alphonso Mangos are Indians, 90% of 99% are repeat customers who knows me very well AND MY HONESTY. 

There is nothing more to write. I have stated very clearly that if you do not provide me pictures of 6 rotten mangos I will not refund you the money and I promise you if you will keep defaming me, we will go to the court and let American citizens decide that I am wrong or you are wrong.

Nobody is defaming your character I just would like a refund for merchandise that was not as expected. When the first 2 were bad I threw them away and ignored it, attributing it to the fact that as fruits sometimes things happen.   I only requested a refund when I found the next 4 to be bad as well.

If anything you are accusing me something you cannot substantiate (ie that I consumed the fruit). In fact  I have evidence that I responded to your shipping request within 2 hrs, which I can prove. It was you who failed to send the shipping label Here is the chronology of emails.  I am just going to let Paypal deal with the matter of credit

May 5, 2013  10.30 pm  Hello this order was delivered and upon arrival when we cut the mangoes they were all rotten. The pictures are attached. I would like a refund credited including shipping costs since not a single mango could be eaten.

May 6, 2013  6.13 am I saw the pictures of three Mangos. This is very common for Indian Alphonso mangos.

There is NO guarantee on Indian Alphonso Mangos as they are irradiated but if you agree to pay the additional shipping, I will send you 3 Alphonso Mangos for free as a special case.

May 6, 10:31 am  I am from India and I have purchased Indian mangos here in the US and this is NOT a regular occurence and it isn't a function of irradiation. ALL of the mangoes had the problem, not just 3 of them. If you want picture of the others I'm happy to pull them out of the trash take pics and send them to you.

I happen to work in the industry, irradiation does not cause separation of the fruit or the discoloration and smell.

The mangoes were in fact spoiled and smelled bad, hence inedible. Hence I would rather just receive credit for my purchase, but I appreciate your willingness to send me a replacement.

 May 6, 10:34 am Please send all 6 Mangos from the trash and I will give you full refund.

I don't need the pictures, I need the rotten mangos.

I will pay for the shipping.

I will send you the pick up slip.

Pretty soon they are not going to accept it becuase of their condition

May 8 2:42pm  Please take a video of all six mangos or all six mangos in such a way so I can see our labels on each label . You did not respond me on 6th or I would have sent you right away. 

May 8 4:20 pm  As you can see below I responded back to you immediately and asked fir the slip. you specifically said you wanted them shipped and not photos . now you want photos with tiny stickers that were obviously thrown away when they were washed. 

This is ridiculous and unacceptable. I have tried to be accommodating but you keep stalling.  Unless I get a refund without further absurd requests you leave me no choice but to file a complaint . 

May 8, 4:21 pm  File the complaint and I will respond. I will NOT give away free Mangos. I am avery honest man and I know what I am doing very well.

I think I've provided you with sufficient evidence and tried to be accommodating but this is ridiculous. I offered to send you pics and the fruit. You declined the pics and failed to send the shipping label as agreed to. If I don't get  refund processed I will be filing a complaint.

May 8  4:31 pm I don't want free mangoes but I won't pay for rotten ones either. I gave you a the options but you just keep requesting new absurd things

This is America, NOT India.  

Alphonso Mango.Com is distributing Indian Alphonso Mangos in USA since 2007. The name of this customer is Ravishankar is from India. It is our policy to keep customers happy, but it applies to honest customers only, it does NOT apply to rip off customers. First of all, I received an e-mail from Mr. Ravishankar stating that all his Mangos are rotten and he wants full refund and also full refund on the shipping cost.

Mr. Ravishankar e-mailed me photo graphs of 3 Mangos out of 6 Mangos. I requested Mr. Ravishankar that if you agree to send me all Rotten 6 Mangos back to me I am ready to give you full refund for Mangos and the shipping cost.

For 2 days Mr. Ravishankar did not reply to me. After 2 days Mr. Ravishankar wrote that Mangos are in such a bad condition that my shipper will not pick it up because of their condition. I requested Mr. Ravishankar that please put all six Mangos on the table and take a photograph of all the Mangos so I can see that all our 6 Mangos are rotten.

All our Authentic Alphonso mangos from India are shipped with stickers. I requested Mr. Ravishankar that I need to see all our Rotten 6 Mangos with sticker in ONE photograph or a Video. Mr. Ravishankar did NOT provide me photograph of all 6 Mangos because he ate the Mangos.

In India there is NO refund policy of Alphonso Mango but here in USA customers pay by Credit Cards and Paypal so they become more creative to eat free and not to pay.

Why Mr. Ravishankar did NOT provide me picture of ALL 6 Rotten Mangos in his first email? Why? Why Mr. Ravishankar did not respond to my e-mail immediately after I requested him to refund him in full along with shipping charges? Why Mr. Ravishankar did not provide me pictures of all 6 Mangos with my labels on it? I am a very honest hard working Indian Man came to America to make a honest living, but I will not allow anybody to trick me.

If Mr. Ravishankar provide me photographs of all my 6 Rotten Mangos within 6 hours from now, I want to refund DOUBLE his money. I am going to send copy of this e-mail to Mr. Ravishankar and request him to provide me photograph of my 6 rotten mangos in one photograph or to remove this POST immediately. Mr. Ravishankar does not know that I have won against United States Govt. and FBI in Federal Court in Los Angeles in Jury Trial under Hon. and Honest Judge Stephen Wilson.

I also intend to file a civil lawsuit against Mr. Ravishankar for defamation of my Character in public if he does not provide me photograph of 6 Rotten Mangos.
